Purchased and has been a great addition to our backyard. Made very well and provides great shade for me while my kiddos play outside

Beautiful pergola. However, the shade cover is too short and leaves a foot at each end uncovered. Extremely disappointing, especially for the price point. Do better!

Great shad3

I've had this up for six months now. Had to elevate the poles about a foot. It is very sturdy in this wind and the cover provides excellent uv protection and shade. I did add some straps around the edge of the tarp to make it more secure. All In all, I love it. Well worth that 100 mph wind rating. The electric and USB outlet included has a open bottom for the wires and I used stick on to hang lights around. You can put the electric piece anywhere!

Very sturdy

I love the pergola. I do not worry about wind storms as it is super heavy and anchored to my concrete patio. The tarp could have been a bit longer/larger (see photo) and strapping system designed better. I had to take mine to a shoe shop to get the trap sewn back on after a wind storm so I had all corners’ sewing reinforced. Other than that, it deserves a 5-star rating. It’s metal and will last forever.

14X10 Trenton Pergola - Very Happy

We purchased and installed this pergola earlier this summer. It was not difficult to assemble and install. The legs are secured to blocking material I added to the joists below the deck boards. It is not going anywhere. We are very pleased with our purchase. The pergola has really improved our outdoor living space. If you are thinking about buying one you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful addition to our backyard!

We have been looking for a pergola for sometime. Happen to see Backyard Discovery on social media and did not hesitate to purchase the perfect pergola. We are so happy with our pergola and we love it!

Total Enjoyment! We LOVE It!!

5 people, two ladders, and 5 hours. That's what it took to assemble this wonderful addition to our property. Make sure to thoroughly read the instructions prior to building. Then, determine which parts need to be assembled. We had 2 people doing the pre-assembly, providing each part in a Just-In-Time fashion. 2 of us were on ladders and the fifth person assisted them. Seems to be quality product, time will tell

We bought this one based on reviews and looking at lesser quality products in stores. I like the wide legs, black color option and overall appearance. Assembly took some time but we were patient and did not rush. Instructions were misleading in one area and we had to figure it out ourselves but I’m handy and it was not a big deal. Hopefully it holds up well and we get years of use from it.

Great pergola

I’ve had this up for a few weeks and all my visitors to the pool love it. If you take your time and really follow the directions it’s easy to put up. Of course you need 2 people at least for the install, 3 is even better. You can do a lot of prefabrication in a garage or barn. The steel is well coated and heavy to suit its application.
