Not for the impatient

These are great-looking tiles and impress everyone that has gone to my lower floor. The slight texture breaks up the ceiling but doesn't have the gaudy look many styles have. Most complaints about these come from people not knowing how to cut the tiles properly. They are not hard to cut if you use a drywall T-square. Mind that this is for a narrow grid.

Overall good ceiling tile

I installed these in a large room (26x16) with very peculiar requirements for shapes due to the poorly planned location of the walls. Once the grid was up, the tiles were fairly easy to work with. The holes for recessed lighting cut easily. The sound dampening is very good. Cutting edges wasn’t too difficult. My main complaint and why the product lost a star was the shipping had many chipped or damaged tiles, but some were stained out of the box. For something that is as expensive as these...

EXCELLENT FOR BASEMENT AND LIMITED CEILING HEIGHT

EXCELLENT FOR BASEMENT AND AREAS WITH A LIMITED CEILING HEIGHT. THE GRID IS EXTRAORDINARILY THIN WHICH RESULTS IN THE APPEARANCE BEING CLEAN, AND STYLISH. UNLIKE OTHER DROP CEINING PRODUCTS, THE COLOR IS TRULY "WHITE" WHICH FURTHER ENHANCES THE ROOM HEIGHT.

Great look once they are installed

I love the look and design of these tiles. It's a nice clean, contemporary look. And they use the suprafine tee grid system which is only 9/16" wide. When finished, it's a great look. Now for the bad. The edges are very fragile and are easily damaged during shipping. The manufacturer drop ships right to the Lowes store, so it's not Lowes damaging them.
