Forward and reverse drives stopped operating!
This snowblower worked great for 2 months, then the traction drive stopped working. I adjusted the drive cable and the speed selector as described in the trouble shooting part of the operators manual, which did not fix the problem. The guy fixing it says the friction disc on this model wears out easily. Seems like a bad design!

Worst Snowblower ever owned!!!
This machine has never run properly. From the second storm it would run for about 10-15 minutes and then stall our and shut down. After bringing to the local Ariens repair shop, they diagnosed and indicated the gas was old and had clogged the filter (but gas was brand new and purchased only days before use). After $300 and no warranty coverage....their warranty is such a joke and a wast of time to actual include.....since they don't cover defects (in my opinion) even though unit was only a mo...

Awesome machine!
I bought this model last October. Mild winter up to a week ago then the snow storms started here in CT. Used it for the first time this week and was truly impressed with its performance and quality. I would highly recommend this snow blower!
