Proprietary inside mechanism is awful, falls apart

I generally like this brand. But its inside components are truly awful. They begin to disintegrate within a few months of installation. Since they are proprietary and not the universal type, you have to order from American Standard. These are the same parts that fall apart. I would recommend avoiding these products entirely. Very disappointing. I’m replacing with a Toto toilet.

Terrible Process

Not a good experience at all. I had two toilets installed and was given an install window of 8-11am. The installer arrived a little after 2pm. He said it was a mix up on Lowe's end and I believe him. Those things happen and I was good to move forward. However, things only got worse. Both toilets needed a longer water hose to reach the taller connect of the newer toilets. Cheap plastic anchors (to hold the toilet down)

They dont sent metal fastners..they send plastic.. We had a handyman who has installed many toilets over the years..and he was hesitant to tighten the plastic fastners because he said they were cheap and would crack..He tightened up very carefully by hand but they still cracked..so it means another $150 for him to come back..take up the toilet and install metal fastners and a new plastic wax ring.(We also had to buy a thicker wax ring as their wax rings are very cheap). Nice small profile high height standard toilet. The plastic seat while slow closing, is a bit thin and cheap, best to buy an upgraded toilet seat at same time and make sure you get the new supply line with proper fitting before you leave the store!

No wax seal in box

Supposed to come with wax seal kit but did not. Everything else ok, but for the $ would like all of what was advertised… had to purchase a seperate one!
