I purchased this patio umbrella after specifically calling Lowe’s customer service to confirm the color. The description listed it as red (not orange), and I wanted to be absolutely sure before ordering. The representative even told me they confirmed with the manufacturer that the umbrella is true red. Updating review, “ Avoid using this company…”

Update: after posting the review, the company provided the promised payment and asked me to update my 1-star review. We got this on sale at the end of the season and there were no others to exchange it for by the time we received it and found the damage, otherwise we would have exchanged it. It is not as horribly heavy as some of the reviews describe. Easy for an average couple to lift/assemble. Our Lowe’s delivery person was awesome—super kind, helpful, and positive.

Avoid using this company—deceitful practices

We were very excited about this umbrella; however, it arrived with a manufacturer defect. Although the manufacturer was initially very responsive, they never followed thru on the partial refund they agreed to provide us. This is incredibly frustrating and we recommend steering clear of this manufacturer. We are seeing about refund opportunities at Lowe’s; however due to the delay resulting in engaging with the manufacturer (who would only engage via email), we may be out of luck. Very disappoint...

Weighted base not included!

The online description clearly stated that the weighted base was included with the umbrella. The picture clearly shows the umbrella with the weighted base. I received the delivery and there was no weighted base. Lowes refused to do anything about it.

terrible customer service

After already having assembled the lower half of the umbrella including filling with sand, unboxed the umbrella and the pole had a crease in it. Called Lowes and said they were not responsible and to contact the manufacturer. The number Lowes gave me did not work. Sent manufacturer an email. I asked for a replacement umbrella upper half since the lower half was assembled. They tried to offer me $100 to keep the damaged one. I refused. So they send another umbrella and said keep the old on...

False Advertising

This product is garbage. Not sure about the other reviews, but there is no stand that comes with this umbrella. The 3rd party company sent a box that has the message "1 of 2 parcels please be patient". There is no second parcel and Lowes wont stand by the product. The umbrella is 100% useless without the base, that is in all the imagery and videos on the site, but listen in the hidden section below (in a drop down mind you) that it is not included.

Colors may not match

I bought two gray umbrellas…same company (Allen&Roth). One for my table snd one large one for over the chaise lounges. One umbrella is grey, the other is beige. See photo

Great Umbrella

I've always gone the cheaper route for umbrellas, and none of them lasted more than a season. I decided to make the jump and purchase this umbrella from Lowes. When delivered, the sealed package was missing a few parts preventing me from assembling.
