Proudly made in the USA from inland red cedar with a reversible face, rough-sawn on one side and a smooth surface on the opposite side
These boards are Kiln dried, untreated, unfinished, and are ready to stain, paint, or finish your choice of color
Each board has nominal(common) dimensions of 1-in thick x 8-in wide x 12-ft long and an actual dimensions of 3/4-in thick x 7-1/4-in wide x 12-ft long
Cedar is the preferred species for exterior use, naturally resisting weather, decay, insects, shrinkage, warping and twisting
Each board has square edges and a S1S2E profile with 1 face and 2 sides smooth and one face having a rough sawn texture

I've been buying Western Red Cedar from Lowes and building canoes for several years now. I'm very picky about the boards I buy and always sort through all the wood in the bin to find the color and grain I desire. Lucky for me Lowes carries a large inventory of Cedar so I always find what I'm looking for.

Some imperfections, but great after treatment.
This looks great after some sanding and stain / oil. I am not a woodworker, but I just did some sanding and used oil to treat it and added a shelf in the house. It looks great. I probably could have selected a better section for the shelf I built, because there were some imperfections, but I think that adds some character. It is pricey... If I had realized that, I would have selected something else.
