Container Garden Combinations

A container garden is a great way to create a focal point or an accent, either as a dramatic stand-alone or in a cluster with a variety of other containers. One of the best things about a container garden is that it looks great almost anywhere, from a secluded patio, a bare window box, an open deck or a crowded garden bed. Create an interesting tapestry and make a bold statement by combining two or more varieties of plants. Plants above: juniper, papyrus, elephant ear (Caladium), gerbera daisy (Gerbera jamesonii). Conditions: sun.

Color Complements

Plants: calla lily (Zantedeschia), seaside petunia (Calibrachoa parviflora). Conditions: sun to partial sun.
