Installation for gas appliances varies by category. Please choose the appliance you’re looking to install above to learn more. Your installation requires that you purchase new appliance parts and accessories. Using unapproved parts may void the manufacturer’s warranty on your appliance.

What if my new appliance is damaged or not working correctly?

Be sure to inspect your new product before installation. Once it is installed, the installer will test to ensure that the product is working properly. If not, Lowe’s will ensure the delivery and installation of a new replacement appliance.

Once your products arrive at the store or your home, a professional independent contractor will contact you within two business days to schedule your installation.

Installation is sold separately and requires an appointment. A third-party qualified professional will complete the installation. Installation purchase is available in cart (except in Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, South Dakota and Wisconsin; please visit your local store for more information).

All independent contractors are background checked, licensed (where applicable) and insured.

Additional delivery fees may include travel costs, tools and trip permits. All cords must be new and are required for connection; these are sold separately and automatically added to cart. Existing connector and cords can’t be reused.

An adult age 18 or older must be present at the time of the appointment to sign for the delivery.

Dishwasher Installation

Connecting your new dishwasher to your home’s electrical power isn’t always simply a matter of plugging a cord into an outlet. Dishwashers can have complex electrical wiring and circuitry. Lowe’s dishwasher installation includes establishing the electrical connections as well as connecting to water lines and drain lines.

Gas Appliance Connection

For additional maneuverability, purchase a flexible gas connector, and we’ll connect it for you. Then, after everything’s connected, we’ll check your new gas appliances for leaks, too. We’ll also put in a new metal vent for gas dryers and test your new appliance to make sure it’s working.
