Instructions

Step 1

Use a steam iron set high enough to use the steam feature, and flatten enough coffee filters for the number of snowflakes you want plus a few for practice.

Step 2

Download the Snowflake Folding and Cutting Guide as a reference for how to fold the coffee filters into triangles with one rounded edge.

Step 3

Cutting snowflake pattern in folded coffee filters.

Transfer the pattern of your choice to the folded snowflake—or create one of your own—and cut out the design. Unfold the coffee filter to reveal the pattern and carefully iron it flat again.

Step 4

Apply a light coat of spray adhesive to the back of the snowflake, let it sit according to the product instructions. Press the tacky face against a window and flatten out any wrinkles.

Good to Know

If any adhesive remains on the glass after pulling off the snowflake, remove it with a rag moistened with mineral spirits (allow plenty of ventilation), and clean the window with a glass cleaner containing ammonia.
