I have one that is 2 years old. I did get a Lowes extended warranty which I never do. Since Jan till june I have had the repair man work on it 8 times . I am now waiting to see if they will fix it or replace it(june29th). I usually have to wait for about a week for them to arrive which is ok but no washer during that time. If parts are ordered then another week plus the weekend. Well you can see that I,m a little sour on Whirlpool!
Terrible
This washing machine was given one star only because I had to choose something. Within the short time I had it, it broke down twice. When I tried to get it resolved at whirlpool, the customer service was a bad experience. I got the runaround. Currently, I’m still trying to get it repaired . Buy at your own risk! Not worth the money or the time!

Mixed Like/Dislike
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to get away from a front load and like the glass lid. However, I feel like I always have to do deep wash because there is no agitator and some clothes get stuck on top during the cycle and never circulate through the water and laundry soap. Also, no fabric softener inlet - had to buy Downy balls for the few loads I use softener.

Worst washer I have ever bought!
Customer service is terrible they are giving me the run around and it’s still under their year warranty! Stay away from Whirlpool products. Shouldn’t have to wait 2 weeks for them to find a repair man local repairmen refuse to work on this because whirlpool takes forever to reimburse!

I've had this washer for under two years and the pump motor wire harness has failed and needed replacement four separate times. Each failure causes the same symptoms — drain pump errors, won't spin, or won't complete a cycle. After researching, I found this isn't an isolated problem. Insufficient water level
There is a deep water option but the tub doesn't fill completely. It appears there is not much difference in the water level between to 2 cycles. Since the tub doesn't fill, there is not much movement and the clothes do not come out clean. I've used the heavy duty cycle to get the best outcome, but socks are still dirty even after soaking. It would be helpful to have a manual on how to best use the machine. The results are terrible. Clothes do not come out clean. I really can't wait for this ...

Do not buy.
I bought this and only kept it for 5 days. Slow cycles, every one took an hour or more. Not enough water was added even on deep water setting, clothes were not clean or thoroughly rinsed. The detachable agitator is useless, does not move clothes through the water, just pushes them around a little. Returned it for refund.

Purchase 3 years ago. Tolerating the Worse washer I have ever purchased. Hate everything about it. It does some kind of weight measurement to determine how much water it needs. Terrible.
