Purchased this washer as a set to replace my Maytag washer that was fried during an electrical surge. Honestly, I'm not a big fan. Maybe I'm still just learning but the control panel is too much. I am really not a fan of the load and go feature. If you don't want the washer to dump who knows how much detergent on its own, there is no other detergent slot, so you just have to add it directly to the drum. Not ideal for those of us with soft water.

Honestly it has nice features, love the load and go and the fact that it has a pre rinse button in it. Other than that this thing sucks! It cannot handle sheets of any size or blankets it’s constantly getting knocked of balance. Every single time no matter what cycle. I can put one sheet in it and it gets knocked off balance. It’s honestly so frustrating.

Inoperable After 2 Months of Purchase
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! 0/5 stars!!!!! Bought this machine in April 2026 and it completely stopped working by June. It has been 50+ days since Whirlpool has been notified and no repair to date. Poor customer service resolution and no accountability from Whirlpool. I have been paying almost $50 weekly at the laundromat. Obscene!!!!!

exactly what we were hoping for
the delivery was great and both gentlemen were quick to deliver the washer where I wanted it. One of them called me about 8 minutes out to have me aware of their arrival. Dee was wonderful at helping me get the order placed on Wednesday and the Saturday drop off scheduled even thought I didn't show up until 9pm and the store closes at 10pm
Very Disappointed – Problems From the Start
I have only owned this Whirlpool washer for 8 months, and it is already making a loud grinding noise. Unfortunately, we’ve had issues with this machine since day one. The multiple cycle options are perfect for every type of laundry. The larger capacity drum is wonderful! The machine has a slightly slimmer profile than my last washer, so we save a little space too. The clothes smell amazing + wash thoroughly each time.

Complicated but washers well

Can’t figure out how to turn that off. Must tell it each load to use fabric softener also. Seems like it should know when it has softener in it on its own. Worst washer ever
Worst washer ever. Its been a constant repair battle with this thing, always gets off balance, basket rods replaced 4 times, constantly throwing fault codes, ultimately the agitator motor went out and couldn’t be fixed. Luckily I bought the warranty, when I usually dont, warranty company decided not to repair it anymore and will replace it with another one of my choice at equal or less value. As nice as they look please stay away from this brand. The matching dryer is about to give too.
