not the worst not the best

I bought this washing machine to replace my ge front load that stopped working after only 5 years. Compared to my front load machine this one does not remove fuzz and pet hair very well. It also has a very large drum but it seems even medium size loads prevent it from spinning evenly and I have to constantly adjust the load. I have started washing only very small loads. The matching dryer also leaves clothes damp after the cycle is finished.

Very Disappointed – Problems From the Start

I purchased this machine in October of 2025 and it already needs a new motor. Customer service is horrible and I swear the last representative I spoke to was sleeping and couldn’t care less about my problem. Disastrous

Salesman nice, delivery, impeccable, product disastrous, return not so good. Unbelievably noisy soap dispenser kept it from working right. Horrible the most horrifying part was when I called whirlpool for a manual, and the guy asked me where I bank

Terrible mistake

Never have I purchased an item in my life that makes me so angry. There is only one thing I like, the large tub. I hate this machine. It beats the heck out of my clothes. The energy saver level with the water barely covers the clothes only to use more electricity on the long time loads. Stay Away

I had high hopes for this washing machine with the large capacity. It gets off balance so easily that the large capacity is pointless because you can't use it. It is super loud and the entire machine shakes when in use. It is constantly "sensing" which means it can say that it has 6 minutes left and take 30+ minutes. No way of simply telling it to run a quick wash cycle. Had I known what I know now, I never would have bought it.

Tried to write a previous review but it would not appear. Would give this washer a 0 if it was possible. Bought it because I wanted a good quality American-made, large capacity, top load washer. What a mistake! Always off balance when ever a medium to larger load is tried, cheap parts that after 3 months I had to replace, has a whistling sound on each wash, the washer is extremely loud and the Whirlpool Customer Service is non-existent. Stay far away from this appliance and company

Huge capacity, huge disappointment. Not recommend

What a waste of money. I was tired of the low water usage front load washers and wanted a large capacity, deep water top load with agitator. I guess I should have bought a 1970's refurbished. I have tried every possible combination of cycle options for deep water, max fill, heavy duty, bulky items and still just end up with wet bedding sitting in the bottom not moving.
