Every other time I get an off balanced load, clothes are in a ball. I've checked the level of the unit and it's right on level! I have read the article titled "Top Load Washer - Wet Clothes Concerns" on the GE Appliances website and followed the directions. Still goes off balanced. Starting my search for a new washer, anything but GE!

Very happy with GE washer
Very happy with out new GE washer. It is much quieter than our old Whirlpool and gets clothes cleaner with a real agitator.

I purchased a new GE TOP LOADING WASHER on June 05, 2026. It was delivered on Friday June 12, 2026 and when they installed it the delivery and install person didn't stay to make sure that it was working before they left. I have owned and used this G.E.Model GTW385ASWWS agitator washing machine for a few weeks now and have finally made my peace with it. Very happy with this washer. Does a great job cleaning my clothes. It doesn't destroy them. The machine is super quiet and very well balanced. Much mure than I can say for my girlfriend! Abt is Aweome!

Simple washer that works
After using a LG washer for two months that was not cleaning our clothes we were able to swap out with this washer. This washer washes much better and our clothes are clean every time. While this washer makes a bit more noise, its not too loud and makes the amount of noise one would expect from a washer machine. I feel like this washer was well made and performs well.

Not happy
I really don't like this washer. Low water level...REALLY low. Even on MAX and Bulky, the clothes absorb all the water. There is no extra water in the tub when agitation begins. I also hate that the door locks when spinning. It takes forever for the spinning to stop so we can put it in the dryer. I mean like 5 mins of free-wheel spinning once the cycle is complete. Seems like appliances are getting worse over time, not better. I want my old washer back. I would def not buy this again.

Excellent experience from the sell to the delivery of a GE washer from Lowe's at Gunbarrel. Pree was so patient with me as I chose which washer would be the best for my situation. She explained the different financing and delivery was available in a few days. My delivery team were efficient during set up in my home and were respectful and friendly.
