Best knife for bagels

I recently used the Zwilling Pro Bread Knife, and I was genuinely impressed — especially when slicing bagels. From the very first cut, it felt incredibly sharp and precise. The serrated edge gripped the crust perfectly without tearing, allowing me to slice cleanly through even the toughest, chewy bagels while keeping the soft interior intact. What stood out most was the balance and comfort.

Perfect (especially for dense breads)

The edge of the blade on this knife is unlike anything I've ever seen. It is pure magic for cutting baked goods with precision. I love making pure rye or spelt bread for its taste and health benefits. It is a very dense bread with a hard crust, but this knife allows for fantastic precision, no crumbles and thin slices. The price tag was a deterrent for me for a long time, but I finally got the knife and wish I would have done it sooner. It's perfect!

Sharp and well-built!

Sharpness and feel is great. Slices crusty sourdough with ease and build quality appears to be very good. A bonus is that it’s supposed to be dishwasher safe although I’m handwashing mine to hopefully keep it sharper for longer! Would be nice if it came with a sheath.

Gorgeous Knife

Gorgeous knife that I've been looking forward to getting for a month. It's long and has good weight that make things easy to cut. The blade is sharp and has nice serration. There was a little bit of scuff on the handle, but not worth deducting a star for. Can't wait to complete my set!

Great bread knife. Picked one up as a replacement for the one that came with my knife block and it's been an improvement in everyway. A 9" blade is a perfect balance of easy handling and usability as well managing to be comfortable in my tiny kitchen but still have enough length to handle any size of loaf I throw at it

Well balanced and does a great job slicing and not crushing bread.

Nice bread knife!

This knife is of excellent quality as expected of the Zwilling Pro line. The "Le Blanc" handle looks nice in person and feels great in the hand. I like the way the blade cuts through the crust of bread and finishes well through the bottom. This blade pattern does seem to cut better than the traditional repeating peak and valley blade designs of bread knives. 10/10 would recommend.

Very sharp, but a little heavy. Aesthetically, I don’t like the tapering of the blade- wish it was even all the way across. But works well.

Super duty bread knife. Heavy and sturdy. Feels great into hand. We've had a lot of bread knives. This one seems to be the best so far. Hope it stays sharp.
