Would Not RecommendI bought this a little over a year ago, have used it maybe twice. Worked great the first couple times. It has been stored in a dry, cool place in between uses. Took it out to use it today, and it was not working right. I changed the battery. Same thing. It thinks literally EVERYTHING is a stud? Beeped across the entire wall, my coffee mug, a piece of paper, even a Kleenex tissue. Continuous beep with red light at any surface it touches. I looked up how to try to recalibrate it or reset it. Would Not RecommendThis thing couldn’t find a stud if your life depended on it! Trying to hang a simple bike rack in a new house build and had to resort to using my knuckles. My knuckles found the studs and this piece of garbage found the garbage can! Choose a different one with all the lights and starts with the letter F.
