Ratings & Reviews for Ziploc 4 -Pack Multisize Plastic BPA-Free Reusable Food storage container with Lid
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers are overwhelmingly dissatisfied, with the vast majority reporting brittle lids that crack on first use and fail to seal properly. Reviewers consistently note that new dimensions no longer stack efficiently or fit freezer shelves, disrupting long-standing storage habits. The plastic feels thinner and corners crack under normal use. A small number praise convenience for specific uses, but these voices are vastly outnumbered by those lamenting the loss of the previously reliable design. Most consider the product fundamentally degraded.

Poor company decision to round the containers. Nothing on the shelves since the change was made

THIS SUCKS

I miss the old squares
Would Not RecommendI used to buy the holiday squares or deep squares, also the long rectangles every year for packing cookies in and bringing to people at the holidays. I loved how they stacked efficiently and had a lot of space inside for packing and stacking cookie boxes. These new designs with the really wide lid and extremely tapered and rounded insides are terrible, so much wasted space because the top is so wide compared to the bottom! And the rounded bottoms make it hard to stack things. I suspect a lot of ...

Cracked in the freezer
Would Not RecommendThese are very cheaply made and the lids do not fit comfortaby or at all. I have had to toss 3 out so far. Buyer beware.

These new updated containers are a horrible shape
Would Not RecommendBring back the old shape. These are horrible and don't fit in lunch boxes. My kids refuse to use them. They are big and bulky. I'm going to have to find another brand now. We were exclusively a Ziploc family. Not anymore.

A Ploy to Get Consumers to Buy all New Containers!
Would Not RecommendI don't need to ask "why" you changed your design and shape, it's always about profits. I've used your Ziplock containers for years, as they became my "Tupperware." They've been a great product that I didn't mind giving away to people with food. I feel extremely frustrated by your new narrow bottom design and I'm here to tell you that I'm replacing all my Ziplock containers with another brand. Yours aren't even usable anymore.

Please bring back the old style square!
Would Not RecommendThe new version just does not compare to the old style. Older style wasted less space. Teg also stacked better in the fridge. The new version are just frustrating to use.

I've used dozens of these for 2 years with no problems!
Would RecommendI use these and similar (Glad and Rubbermaid) containers for culturing butterfly and moth caterpillars. I have over 200 containers of various sizes, including 30 of the 9-cup size, purchased in several different stores at different times. I have not had any of the problems that others report with the new lid design. I can't help wondering if people are just not being careful to seat the lid properly- but it isn't hard to do. Or perhaps there are counterfeits on the market? In my experience these...

What happened?
Would Not RecommendProduct used to be wonderful. This new design is so bad. Did you even test it? Why did the product change? They used to stack so well.... and, they used to actually seal! Now, pure junk. Do not waste your money!

The redesign is terrible - won't fit in my kids lunch bag!
Would Not RecommendDear Ziploc, Bring back the old ones! After years of using the older square ziplocs I had finally lost too many lids to continue. I bought all new containers for the new school year. What a waste of money! The new lip/edge makes these containers so wide they don't even fit in my kids lunch bag. Hopefully I can find a retailer with old stock left.

Lid failure is a given
Would Not RecommendZIPLOC containers have a short life because of the thow away lids. The lids crack easily. This Environmentally it does a wasteful product contributing to plastic pollution. It would not be as bad if replacement lids were available.

Terrible product
Would Not RecommendThe new "snap lock" lids do not snap or lock. I can't use them for food storage because they don't seal. I have to throw them out.

Terrible Redesign
Would Not RecommendThe previous style square containers took up less space in cabinets and the refrigerator. They were easier to nest. The new ones have a big lip which prevents a neat side to side storage. Who in their right minds could possible though that these are a better design?

How did this miserable product make it to market?
Would Not RecommendI cook a lot and give food away to friends and neighbors. The previous Ziploc containers were great, sealed well, stacked well, and minimized the space needed for them in my refrigerator. I bought many packages (red, green lids) as my older ones are wearing. This new design is incredibly bad. I can't understand how the design made it through quality assurance. Did anyone try to use these before manufacturing them? The lids are horrible and won't go on at all.....they just keep sliding/popping of...

This new design is horrible
Would Not RecommendI replaced all my old containers with the new design. The lids on the square and the deep square will not snap on and stay on. My lids are popping off and my food is not staying fresh. The small square container lids work fine but all sizes of the containers don't fit efficiently in the fridge or in my cupboard. The bottom tapers in so there is a lot of wasted space when they are stacked. The lids are oversized so they don't fit snuggly in the space. I bought so many of these all at once to repl...

Lids are terrible
Would Not RecommendI can appreciate the the lids need to be tight to ensure a leak-proof seal. The problem is getting them on in the first place. I managed to get one on only to find out that the rim around the container itself cracked, leaving it less than leak-proof. The lids need to be about 2mm larger.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!
Would Not RecommendThese new containers with the smart snap technology are absolutely horrible. The lids are flimsy and they do not shut properly. It takes a while for the lids to snap on properly. When storing food in the freezer, I found that the lids popped right off and would not stay on. I am disappointed in this product and regret wasting my money on such a thing. I miss the old ziploc containers and lids. At least the old ones would shut properly and keep my food fresh.
