Would RecommendI can tell you that Zinsser Stain Killer Primer did just that !!! It worked Awesome!! We first went to Sherrie Williams, and bought the Pro-Block Primer. After priming the entire kitchen it needed a second coat because the cigarette stains on every surface were so bad that you could see yellow was bleeding through even after scrubbing all of the walls before priming. Best Oil based wood primer
Would RecommendGreat Product custom tinted for easy topcoat coverup. Priming Cedar siding for New post & beam barn exterior and using latex topcoat. Used this product on home project 6 yrs agp and still looks great. Good preparation is all takes. So we are doing the same with this bldg. and we are on the Coast of Maine. Purchased 32 gals. Great outdoor paint
Would RecommendThis oil based paint weathers really well. If you need something for a fence or for a house, this works great. Its oil base keeps it from flaking and pealing. Something regular latex paint doesn't offer well. It does paint different though. It is thicker going on than latex. In heat and humidity it tends to go on a little tacky, but the trade off is a beautiful finish that weathers very well. I would rather spend the extra time putting zinsser on and have a finish that lasts longer than oth...
