Talk about buyer’s remorse!

First, I’ve used this brand many times in the past and been well pleased. So when beginning work on a huge wrap-around porch on historical home, I didn’t hesitate buying this brand again. Does not work on peeling concrete

It can put on wood that’s peeling and stops peeling

Had some bubbling issues, otherwise a nice primer

We used Peel Stop on our old 1950 garage that has clapboard siding. It was freshly painted by the previous homeowners 3 years ago and that paint had begun to peel badly all over. We scraped everything down and then applied Peel Stop to the entire exterior. It worked good in stopping my porch paint from peeling

Perfect for helping refinish a peeled surface

Used this product on an exterior door that hadn't been finished correctly and the paint had bubbled in multiple spots. Sanded those spots back, hit it with this peel stop, then some filler to smooth out the surface before a light sand and then refinishing with paint.

It’s like I didn’t prime at all

I noticed this didn’t seem to be covering very well as I applied it, so I made sure to paint it on generously. The next morning, it looks like the wall wasn’t even primed at all. Talk about a waste of money and time.

Prevented me from having to start over

I’m not a professional so I probably did something wrong to get to where I was but this stuff saved my project. I’m repainting wainscoting and had to replace all of the old caulking. Goes on thin, dries mostly clear

Product goes on thin and doesn't dry white. Spent time and money getting different roller naps and no improvement. 30 day return window, so test if you bought prior to finishing the job. Photos after 3 coats.

Great Product

Does what it claims and is easy to use. Works well at filling in porous wood.

Best product ever

This stuff is as close to magic in a can as you're going to get. It takes ugly wood and makes it pretty. This works wonders for paint that is cracked and flaking. If I hadn't seen it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it. It saved me the cost of replacing some shiplap plywood. If your wood is delaminating and separating on the face it probably won't make much difference, but for anything else it's definitely effective.

looks thick goes on thin

This primer look thick in the can, but it applies to the surface like water. I should have just bought regular primer because thus stuff is terrible. I even poured it into a 5 gallon bucket thinking it did not mix well in the can, but it is still like water. I want my money back.

It Works!!!

I had an awful bunch of peeling paint on my ceiling, the thing freaking glued it back together. Impressive!

Great sealer

This stuff I great! It goes on thick to act almost as a seal and dries quickly. I used it inside and there were no chemical smells.
