What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this door closer for its straightforward installation, strong build, and reliable performance. Most highlight how quick and simple setup is, often taking under ten minutes with clear instructions. The heavy-duty construction is especially valued by those in high-wind areas, with reviewers noting it prevents slamming on heavy doors where previous models failed. The tap-and-go hold-open feature is widely appreciated for convenience and accessibility, particularly for those carrying items or with mobility challenges. A few report minor issues like inconsistent hold-open performance or sizing differences, but these are vastly outweighed by positive feedback.

Would RecommendThis closer is a game changer. The heavy duty gives the extra strength for our doorway, and the e-z hold makes my life so much easier! I can now carry everything i need inside without having to worry about the door clipping my ankles.

Poor Quality
Would Not Recommend1st one I purchased locked up solid on first opening of the door. Exchanged for a replacement. The 2nd one had the adjustment knob broken off. Door sweep range was less than the original unit that came with the door.

To close the door
Would Not RecommendI had 2 of these closers ruined because people not familiar with this type closure tried to force the door closed and bent the closure arm because of inadequate closing instructions at $35.00 each they are to expensive to use because of improper use by people that do not know to push the door open and let it go for it to close

STORM DOOR CLOSER
THE PISTON IS TO SHORT. I CAN ONLY OPEN THE DOOR ABOUT 75% OF THE WAY VS. THE NEED FOR 90% OPENING. IT WILL WORK BUT IS AGGERVATING, SINCE I HAVE TO STEP OFF THE WALK TO GET PAST THE END OF THE DOOR!

Accessible and helpful tool for everyone
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an innovative product and helpful to everyone who could use the extra accessibility. I know for my parents they are getting older and this product alleviates the need for them to bend down every time they want to prop the door open. The easy touch of a button without leaning down is extremely useful. It could also be useful if you had your hands full and could not fully extend the door without putting the items down.

Hands full? All good!
Would RecommendOverall, I’m a fan of this update. I am using this on my balcony door. It’s helpful when I’m carrying decorations or coffee/food and my hands are full. It is a bit bouncy, but you get used to it. I also like the adjustment knob for speed of closing.

Door closer with easy hold open
Would RecommendWorks great so far! Very easy to use. I had one similar that came with the door that broke and I really missed the convenience of it so I bought this and it is better than the original.
