What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this door closer for its straightforward installation, strong build, and reliable performance. Most highlight how quick and simple setup is, often taking under ten minutes with clear instructions. The heavy-duty construction is especially valued by those in high-wind areas, with reviewers noting it prevents slamming on heavy doors where previous models failed. The tap-and-go hold-open feature is widely appreciated for convenience and accessibility, particularly for those carrying items or with mobility challenges. A few report minor issues like inconsistent hold-open performance or sizing differences, but these are vastly outweighed by positive feedback.

Looks nice, works great…..unless installed on door
Would RecommendWe bought this to replace one that was bent. We bought the heavy duty one and paid an extra $20, compared to the one we were replacing. This one bent in the same place as the previous one. Maybe our door just catches too much wind to keep anything from bending. I would recommend this for doors that don’t sustain lots of wind.

Does what it showed
Would RecommendProduct fit the door and worked as described. I do wish it had a little more tension on it to close the door better. But it does a decent enough job.

Quality closer
Would RecommendFairly easy to install. I put it on an 8 ft storm door so had to mount it at the bottom in order to use the hold open feature, which works great with a foot tap. Adusted to perfectly close the door. Guide said to use two, but one works perfectly.

Worth it
This ez hold is the best thing I’ve come across. It is so convenient and I wish I had gotten it sooner. The closer is heavy duty so it works for busy doorways. It feels very durable!

Strong!!!
Would RecommendMy storm door kept slamming even with an old closer, I upgraded to this and it finally works like it should. The close is controlled and I love the “ez hold” feature so it can be propped open while I carry big stuff in.
