Cut 5 small branches; chain came off

After reading instructions I used the JawSaw to cut 5 small branches. While it worked well, the chain came off before I could cut any more branches

Less Scary

It is kinda heavyish, but I could still manage it. The only problem comes when the chain comes off (and it did on the first use). But it really wasn't too hard to get it back on. Bought this, with extension pole, about three years ago and never used it. Just now I put some oil in the thing, plugged it in, ran it a couple time to circulate the oil, and BOOM! - I cut some 5" limbs like they were BUTTAH! What fun! Now the city will pick up my logs and I'll have a neat yard. I may even rent myself out to neighbors for a price. (Now I wish I had bought the cordless one.) I've bought five WORX tools and will always be a fan.

Great for quick clean up of downed limbs.

bought this tool for my wife and she is very content with the work it does.

Can't be it for cutting branches and sticks!

We have eleven trees in our yard and every week we are picking up branches and sticks and throwing them on the Pile behind our storage barn. The Pile gets pretty high about twice a year! So buying the "WORX Electric Jaw Saw" has made cutting the pile down to throw away size easy!

Wire inside broke

Sorry we bought this. The internal wiring gets caught and breaks. We have had to rewire it 4 times. When it worked it was fine but this is almost beyond repair. I bought it in Oct and unfortunately did not keep receipt otherwise I would have returned it. I would not recommend it. We heat only with wood and the idea that I would be able to help cut up the smaller stuff seemed great. However we have almost run out of wire to repair. Such a waste of money.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first used it the chain came loose, not off, that is when I realized reading the start up instructions is a must. The chain came loose because what I didn't do and not because of the saw. Once I did what it said the saw helped me wonderfully.

I am a 66 year old woman and I love this saw!

I don't have to wait for my husband to cut branches I can easily do it myself & it's so safe.

An innovative saw even I can use!!!

This was my first Worx tool. It looked too good to be true. I watched the video and ordered it. It has exceeded my expectations. Now, 2 or 3 years later, I am still using it, same blade, works like it always has. Really nice to be able to cut up small branches for firewood. Left unfriendly..

I have had this sitting around for a couple of years, and this week I just figured out why I have not been using it.. I am left handed and it is awkward for me. I still love all my Worx equipment.

WORKS PERFECTLY FOR TRIMMING TREES

I bought the JawSaw 5 amp Electric Chainsaw with a pole extension, and then another one this month for my son for Christmas. Makes short work of cleaning up

My wife and I recently did major tree pruning in our front yard. With my handy WORX electric pole saw I soon had the front yard almost totally covered with big cut limbs. The JawSaw quickly had the bigger diameter limbs cut up into 4 ft. long pieces, that the city prefers, that we stacked on the parkway. Mighty machine!

I bought this about five weeks ago. I have used it to remove numerous branch’s and small trees. It is light weight and easy to use, this little guy cut down an out of control rubber tree in no time. It is powerful and functional. I am a woman over 50 and had no difficulty using this product.

Works well, powers through easily.
