Ratings & Reviews for WORX Power Share 20-volt 12.0-in Telescopic Shaft Battery String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable 2 Ah (Battery Included) (Charger Included)

My new favorite hobby

Weed-eating. A chore everyone hates because the spool is always messed up, and it hurts your low back to hold the trimmer. Well, since I bought this trimmer, I'm telling you it is FUN! I am a 52 year old woman who weighs about 120 lbs. I can use this tool all day. We have a small farm, and my boyfriend has so much to do that I like to help with what I can. I've always said, "I can mow but I can't weed eat - it kills my back". I've been using this beauty daily since I bought it, except whe...

Great clean up tool for small areas

I love the lightweight aspect of this tool. Very easy to use.

Weed eater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks back . Everything works well except the battery has to be charged after about 20 min . That’s a big inconvenience. Wish it came with two batteries . My first model came with two batteries which was great . My batteries from that unit will not work and fit on this new unit .

very sturdy and powerful

I just got this today, it replaces my first WORX trimmer that I have used for 3 years! a great tool I just wore it out. this one is even better, sturdier and easier to use. love it!!!!

Not as good as my previous one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved my first edger and trimmer the light weight fact that I did not have to fool with the string was such a plus. This purchase was such a let down. The string needs constantly pulling. Changing from trimmer to edger was much easier. You really have to put pressure on the unit to change operation. But having to constantly adjust the string. That is the deal breaker. This will be my last.

CHAINSAW and trimmer

I’ve purchased 3 trimmers. The first one is still working great. Sent with one of my kids of at college. Second one had multiple defects. Worx sent a replacement only because it was under a year old. Worx was great. I purchased a chainsaw may 2021. Not sure when I actually received in the mail. I used it once with some issues. I figured it was a learning curve, but got the small jobs done. Yesterday, I used it again. Total flop. Calling today about the chain flying off. Unable to cut a 1.5” diam...

Best Trimmer/Edge Ever Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dearly love this Trimmer/edger w/battery best money i ever spent. I am a elderly lady and i can now trim & edger with this tool and have no problem. Those wheels on the trimmer or so good i have a perfect edge along my driveway every time and all I do is roll it don't have to carry it. Also having spools of line just pop one in when empty pop out no dealing with string to wind. This is a perfect tool. I bought a second one just incase my pre...

Lightweight and easy to use.

My old one lasted almost 9 years! It finally died but the original batteries still work. I just used a new one yesterday and could not be happier. When the old one bit the dust I came in that day and ordered the new one. No way I’m doing my yard work without it! Thank you for such a wonderful product.

Returned it after 1 use.

It wasn't powerful enough and didn't cut well. I ended up returning it for a 40 volt model.

Durable

I bought my trimmer about a month ago. I have used it extensively on the farm. I like the trimmer but the battery life is short. It needs to come with two batteries.

handy

Could only attach wheels one way, other one wheels could be turned to roll on ground.

Not up to the task

I bought this trimmer (WG162) about a month and a half ago. It's frustratingly inadequate as a grass trimmer. It easily bogs down while trimming common lawn grass due to the lack of power and the single strand of line. Having to 'baby' this tool just increases the time it takes to complete the task. The edging rollers aren't really useful - easier to just hold the trimmer where you need it. Same for the flower guard - simply not needed.

Not the greatest

This product is definitely for very small jobs And the batteries do not actually last as long as listed Maybe an hour and a 1/2 so if you are to buy this make sure you get a second battery cause you're probably going to need it
