Best ergonomic trimmer you'll ever own

The only tool you need for yard work in the summer

This tool does it all so easy and I have had two now and love them--they last over 10 years and do such a job lawn looks like it had a manicure--edges are sharp as a Diamond clean and clear cut!!

Lightweight and easy to maneuver

I have been using this trimmer for about 2 years now and find it very easy to use. I have had to change the spool once and it was easy to do. I love the fact that the new spools are available for life if you make that choice. The easy string feed feature works much easier than having to tap the line out like other trimmers on the market. Also very easy to change the trimmer from one edging position to another depending on your need.

Ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many edgers over the years, but none have been as easy to care for and use as my cordless WORX string trimmer. It is light and yet still powerful. The battery last for about 5 trims around my yard. Stores easily and is quiet when in use. My neighbors love me. I would highly recommend WORX for your next tool purchase.

Light weight and easy to handle.

I've enjoyed my Worx 12" trimmer. It's light weight and versatile. I used it almost 4 years before it conked out (3 year warranty) but, I ordered another one just like it, so I should be good for 3 more years, at least. It trims and edges very well and is light enough that it won't tire you out.

multiple problems

bought 170 started using March 2023, bought 162.9 started using June 2023- side by side comparison..the 162.9 is a lemon! the on button seems flimsy inside & often trimmer won't come on have to try & try The wheel falls off, will NOT stay on to attempt edging w/it. The manual linefeed is gltchy and have to spend 5-10 to get line fed. Direct comparison of 170 and 162 The 162 I am told is brand new version, but has numerous bugs and glitches and the safety release and on button seem to be extrem...

Big upgrade for me...

I had a heavier electric string trimmer and edger from a competing brand, but it was clumsy to use and it was always difficult to find replacement string. Finally, my hand was forced when the string went out of manufacturer, for what reason(s) I don't know and no longer care, for I "upgraded" to this product. This product is: (1) Much lighter, a godsend; (2) Cordless, just pick it up and go; (3) Easy to maneuver due to its significantly lighter weight; and (4) A tad quieter, albeit the neighbors...

easy to use trimmer

The trimmer does what it is designed to and more. The ease of the mechanical positions makes it perfect to trim around everything you could possibly need.

light and powerful!

This Worx trimmer/edger is my favorite Worx tool. I love them all but this helps me trim where needed and cuts a fine edge for sidewalks and driveways or anywhere you'll need an edge. The price point makes it so desirable that I actually have purchased two of them . My wife helps and she finds it to be light and yet powerful.

My Go To Tool

It is light weight and I use it to edge and trim multiple locations on 2 acres. I’ve had mine for 3 years and it works without fail. Great tool for women.

Really like my Worx tools

My 12" cordless Grass Trimmer/Edger/Mini Mower can do almost all my yard work. It is lightweight. I enjoy using my "toys" which are ideal for older folks.

Awesome Item

I'm around my 40 and was never able to lift my husband trimmer. This worked out great for me. I would recommended to my mother who in her 70. Very light and easy to use.

Love it

Very easy to use. I’m almost 85 and still mow my mow my yard. My husband got a Green works battery operated one several years ago. I have bought several battery operated Worx tools . I have 2 trimmers to blowers .I love how easy the batteries are to attach to the tools and also to remove them. Love all my Worx tools.

Lightweight yet powerful

Our other trimmer/edger was very heavy and the feeder basically stopped working, so I replaced that with this. What a great decision! It works really well and the battery lasts a long time. We live on a corner and I have a lot of lawn to edge, and this allows me to do all of it in one trimming session.

Just as good as gas power without hassle of gas

This is pretty solid for the price point. The best thing is no need to fight with mixed gas like other Edgers.. Just plug and play! It lasts quite a while on a 2.0 Ah 20 volt battery, its cuts extremely well, the edger is simple and nice. Just as good as gas power for an average lot size. One con: it does get tiring on the hands. I'm not sure if its a weight issue or balance issue with the tool, but I need to take break with it sometimes and I'm a fairly fit person.

Like the price and dual nature of the product. Dislike lock was not working properly and was not attached securely was able to fix myself.
