Have duct tape ready
Would Not RecommendThe threads to attach it to a pole are plastic. It would not tighten sufficiently to use. I had to duct tape it to the pole.
Don't use on fencing
Size and ease of use was great, but it was clearly never tested on fencing because it almost instantly starts falling apart. I was only able to use it for about 8' of pine fencing and it was done. Might be better for Decks only
Locking device might break
Would RecommendGreat pad, but the plastic switch to lock the swivel head broke on first use. That made the pad swivel only, which limited the use of the device.
Waste of time

Zero Problems with This
Would RecommendPerhaps the item has been improved since 2019 which seems like when most of the negative reviews originated. Or maybe it was just being too rough on it. I did 300sq. ft of boat dock, steps and handrails without a hitch in 1 hr 20 min taking it easy. I thought enough of it to clean it and save it for a next project.
