Poor quality/fragile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used the machine once before the little clip that attaches the lid snapped and prevented me from starting the washer. I have to wait 5 days before warrantyservice.

Was great at first

Bought this as a set and in the beginning it was great but now I hate it. EVER CYCLE IS OFF BALANCED!! I have to take it all out then place it back in just for me to have an earthquake in my laundry room. I have to do this several times for it to spin out. I even go to the drain and rinse then to drain and spin and I have to remove the clothes again to get it to drain. It takes over 2 hours to get a very small load of clothes done. lots of options to use on the washer

Don’t waste your money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Utter garbage. Machine is broken and cost to repair is more than the price of a new machine. Whirlpool used to be a brand you can trust to work, now the only think you can trust is it will brake soon after the warranty expires. I truly hope you are ashamed of the quality of your products!

Great washing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is incredible clothes stains are easily removed. Clothes are so soft and bright! So many choices of cycle customization. The capacity to handle loads are second to none, very pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely horrible

Bought this washer and dryer set in 2021. Our dryer never dies our clothes all the way without two cycles and the washer STAINS ALL OF OUR LIGJT COLORED CLOTHES TERRIBLY. we have cleaned it multiple times and nothing works. Do not recommend

BUYER BEWARE

DO NOT BUY- We have owned this for less than 3 years and the entire control board went out. Repairman said it's not even worth fixing (would cost more than the washer!)

Don’t buy, lasted 4 years before a major failure

I had my Whirlpool WTW5100HW washer for 4 years and it has suddenly became REALLY loud during the spin cycle. Like a loud continuous roar. I’ve been told that the bearings were shot in the transmission. My washer is only 4 years old. Never buying this washer or anything from Whirlpool again!

JUNK! WHIRLPOOL = NO QUALITY!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I bought this machine July 2024. In March 2025 the washer failed to power on, called for warranty service. The main control panel was bad, the tech had to order the panel replacement and came back to install it a few days later. Fast forward to January 2026 and the SAME part has failed 10 months later. Whirlpool will NOT replace their failed replacement part. I will have to pay for the part and the time for a technician to replace it if I want the less tha...

Terrible Washer!

I have had this washer for over a year and suddenly in the last 6 months, if I put anything in the washer that is heavier than a t-shirt it goes off balance when it hits the spin cycle. It does not matter if I sort my clothes and put heavy items with heavy items. I have tried just about every setting and every load size. Awful with no agitator. Doesn’t clean the laundry.

Bought this set brand new. This washer is the worst! I thought no agitator would be great for large items etc. no. YOU NEED AN AGITATOR! Notice all the other models now have a removable agitator. Because without one, it literally can’t clean your clothes. Even on heavy duty, the clothes are lightly jostled around, they barely even move. Regret. Disappointing. Never again.

Awful in quality

I’ve only had it roughly two years and it’s been rough. We’ve had an older whirlpool set that lasted for a very long time. This set on the other hand isn’t up to pair as it should for the price. Probably made during Covid-cheap parts. The washer makes noise trying to balance the water rather u put it on auto, med or small. The dryer doesn’t dry as it should, actually had the dryer serviced the first year we bought it. I regret buying whirlpool again not what it use to be.

Do not buy!!!!

This washer broke after the 1 year mark exactly. The control panel shot lightening at the wall and started smoking!! After it was replaced it worked for 3 more years and the clothes started smelling horrible after washing. Now the whole machine has stopped working and won’t turn on anymore with the clothes locked inside.

Done after less than 2 years

Had a repair guy come out today and he said that I might as well get something new bc it will cost almost as much to fix it. He also said that Whirlpool is traish, and appartently he is correct. Didn't even last 2 years...

Pre-wash is a game changer.
