Doesn't stay cold

The refrigerator part stays cold, but the freezer does not. I had to throw away so much food that spoiled because of this. The settings are correct, but the freezer still doesn't work. It stopped working within the first year!

My ice maker is dysfunctional

The first month it was just spraying water in the ice box and making a mess in there. Now recently it’s been leaking all through out the fridge an it ruining my food.

complete junk

I bought this fridge 10/21/2025 i have had 2 service calls to repair the fridge because top self is staying to hot and bottom is literally freezing everything. 1st guy came out and replaced a few parts worked great for a few months then next guy came out and fake a replacement repair. im over it I have a case number still getting run around tire of my food getting ruined. absolutely will not ever buy a whirlpool again. this one has done me in for a lifetime.

Junk

This freezer stopped work at exactly 13 months… or course, one month past the 12 month warranty period! Plus, we lost hundreds of dollars work on food. I’d give it zero stars if I could!

Worst purchases I've ever made

This was probably the worst purchases I've ever made. The refrigerator worked perfectly the first few months and then it began giving me problems. The freezer would work for a few days then the temperature would go up above freezing just enough to partially thaw the food out then it would freeze again. I went to Lowes and they told me that I had to go to Whirlpool to file a warranty claim. After 8 months, two different local repair guys and 3 new circuit boards, the refrigerator still doesn'...

refrigerator

I ordered a refrigerator online and they sent me the wrong merchandise. i call the headquarters and they pretended as if i made the mistake. Usually i am easily satisfied. This occasion it was all Lowe's fault and their response was horrible. I do have photos of the damages also that the appliance they delivered to me. I consider uploading if i need to. they ought to have either corrected their error or reimbursement should had been offered.

Scratch n dent

It works ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator works well but the controls for cooling and controls for the humidity settings in the produce drawers are not very good. Recommended cooling is not quite cold enough but if we put it one more place our food freezes in the refrigerator. The controls for the produce drawers are simply a joke. The refrigerator I previously had was smaller in total size but had slightly more space inside.

Whirlpool is junk

We bought this fridge 15 months ago the freezer stopped working and Whirlpool wouldn't cover it under warranty! Really the fridge should last at least 10 years before having to replace it! But hey thanks for not helping me at all Whirlpool! I will NEVER buy Whirlpool again!!!!

The fan went out in 14 months.

The fan went out. The freezer worked, but not the refrigerator. Do not purchase. One would expect a brand new refrigerator to last longer than 14 months. No support from Whirlpool, other than $480 in repair coverage for the future.

WORST APPLIANCE AND MFG. SERVICE EVER

I bought the Refrigerator with an extended warranty. The temperature is to warm on 2nd setting and freezes produce on 3rd setting. The door gaskets are falling off. The Extended warranty company Centricity for the last 11 days says my service request is still being processed.

Has some issues

Second thing is this refrigerator is always running despite me being the only member of the household and it’s currently set for normal usage/cold settings
