Refrigerator Is Okay BUT THE DELIVERY WAS HORRIBLE

This was the second time, April 2025, we have purchased this model, Whirlpool WRT318FZDM11 due to a lack of space. They only build them to last 5 years. The BIG PROBLEM was the DELIVERY. Two guys, one spoke zero English. The doors had to be reversed so the work was being done in the road. They were dropping parts on the ground like they were trash & not needed. Good Refrigerator at a reasonable Price

I liked the size of the refrigerator (18.2 cu. ft.) and that it would also fit nicely where my old one had set. It seems as though it has enough room for all of the food items that I intend to keep cold and frozen for regular use in the kitchen. I also thought the price was reasonable and Whirlpool is a good brand since they have been making products for a long time. Great value for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous refrigerator ( same exact make / model etc... ) was 20 years old. It was still working fine but we thought it wise to replace it. Compared to previous model, we have noted two things - a) the new one is much noisier than the old one and the interior spacing of the new refrigerator is not as functional / efficient as the previous model.

Be Aware

My new frig experience, is a story of two tales. Now, the product. I was replacing a 20 yo Kenmore-branded, Whirlpool. Note: I had promised myself I’d never get another Whirlpool, so since I’m partly at fault here, I’m giving the new Whrlpl a 3 (instead of a 2). Great for the I'd need for the space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this frig. For about 3 weeks, freezer was on top, I should have gotten one like my old one freezer bottom, anyway works fine but when the freezer was on defrost cycle it was very loud. Other than that it was fine.

My Second Whirlpool Refrigerator

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ice Maker did not work. A tech came to my home and supposedly fixed it. It now makes a few cubes and fills the cube holder with water which freezes. Original wait ton the phone time for an operator was 55 minutes. Still waiting on the phone for over 40 minutes mow for an operator to request another service call.

Don't believe delivery promises

I bought this refrigerator to replace one that died. I checked online to be sure the refrigerator was available and could be delivered the next day. After I confirmed that it was apparently available and would be delivered the next day, I drove to the Lowe's store and explained to the sales associate that I specifically needed delivery the next day. He assured me it would be no problem. But then.....it turned out the refrigerator I selected was NOT, in fact, available. OK. I found a similar mode...

It freezes perfectly even at the low setting, and the bottom part of the fridge keeps our meats and milk and butter etc, also perfect at the low setting... Keep up the good work!
