Easy Installation. Just started using and no problems thus far.

Was easy to i stall and takes the iron now I have white bathroom fixtures instead of orange.

Water softener

We are pleased with this water softener. We like the fact that everything you need to see is upfront, our old one we have to lift the lid. We thought we could install it ourselves but we had to call a plumber to install it. Within the hour he was done. This water softener is well built and reliable.

My old one needed to go. I forgot what great soft water felt like. Would highly recommend this unit Thanks. Lowes and your great staff for helping pick this softener out !

Water softner

Just had this water softner installed so can’t yet comment on effectiveness. But purchasing was easy and the man who assisted me was helpful and knowledgeable. Time will tell but I am hopeful!

Broke at 1 year mark, filled house with brown ambe

JUNK minus stars, never really worked correctly. Got extended warranty and somehow they slipped (slimmed) out and not warrantied. 1year. Even the bottle of cleaner sold states it will have an extended warranty.- Nope.

So far so Good

We noticed the better water quality/difference almost immediately on the next day after a few regenerations and time for new softner to cycle

Was easy to install, took out old one & put in new one. Hardest job was turning water off at the street. My old Whirlpool lasted about 20 years, does that say something about these units. We have 2 adults using unit and almost never have to put salt. Great product.

The all-in-one design makes salt handling a chore

This type of cabinet-style softener puts everything into one compact unit, which also means the salt tank is built right into the system. Every time salt gets low, you still have to open the cabinet, lift heavy bags, and pour them directly into the machine. The low-salt indicator only tells you when the problem is coming — it does not make carrying and loading salt any easier. For something advertised as reducing the hassle of salt maintenance, you are still stuck doing the heavy part yourself.

Iron reduction is much more limited than it sounds

The iron reduction claim needs a closer look. This system is rated for up to 12 ppm of ferrous, or clear-water, iron, but that does not mean it handles every type of iron problem. If your water has oxidized iron, iron bacteria, or more complicated well-water issues, a water softener like this is not a complete iron treatment system. Calling out “iron reduction” sounds broad, but the actual application is much narrower.

Easy does it!

Just purchase recently to replace 10 yr old GE water softener. Easy installation which took under 1 hour as all plumbing was existing. Working well and providing the soft water as needed. One of the easiest jobs for a DIYer!

Effective and efficient at water softening.

Installed about a month ago and very happy with performance so far. I used same settings on water hardness on this unit as I did with prior unit owned. This is softening, but appears to be using less salt and is much more efficient. No complaints so far.

easy install and it has been working great, Was hard to get out of the box, I just cut the box off.

Simple install, water pressure is back!

My 11 year old 33k grain bit the dust. Bought this and install was a breeze, using the existing bypass. This unit does connect about 2" higher than the 33k model. Luckily my connection had flexible connections. Water pressure is back!
