What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the water softener for delivering soft water consistently, with most reporting reduced water spots, decreased soap usage, and immediate improvements in water quality. Many highlight straightforward installation and efficient salt usage. Simple install, water pressure is back!

Would Recommend

My 11 year old 33k grain bit the dust. Bought this and install was a breeze, using the existing bypass. This unit does connect about 2" higher than the 33k model. Luckily my connection had flexible connections. Water pressure is back!

first time diy and it's a win

Would Recommend

our 15 yr kenmorenwater sofener finally took a dump.I noticed these hookups were at the same height and the bypass was almost identical. **small bead of water on initial flow around bypass. but that was just system pressurizing. i gave each fitting a quarter turn and running smooth.no issue.very ez

Regenerates more often than expected

Would Not Recommend

For a 44,000-grain water softener, I expected longer periods between regeneration cycles. In a household with very hard water and several people using water every day, the usable capacity can disappear pretty quickly. The “smart” regeneration feature does not change the fact that the system still has to regenerate whenever the resin capacity is used up. If you have seriously hard water, this may mean more salt, more water use, and more frequent regeneration than the marketing makes it sound.

Softens water

Would Recommend

Old 33k softener went out after 12 years and I was losing water pressure. Bought this and installed it in less than 20 minutes using the existing bypass valve (it was on flexible connections. This unit sits a few inches higher than the 33k unit). Water pressure is back!

Damaged Good Delivered

Water Softener arrived damaged and unacceptable for installation. Lowe's customer service friendly enough but could not arrange return. Box had obviously been cut open and taped back up, probably after unit fell off the trunk, for examination. but damage was internal and only revealed by unpacking the equipment.

The unit appears to be well engineered and so far performs as it should. The instructions in the user manual are poorly written; ex., the step by step sequence of programming is not correct.
