Whirlpool water softner

We have extremely hard water, and this unit takes care of it!!!

New water softener

We bought this model & brand to replace the 16 year old one that we had. It is working well, still adjusting the levels to see what feels best. The only item I would have liked is a lighted display, it is sometimes hard to see.

Off to a good start

After doing some research online, I decided to purchase this water softener last month to replace one that failed to work after 10 years of use. My son and brother installed it for me and it is working well. The job was clearly ouyt of my skill set. I was sorry that a manual was not provided, but I printed one from the website. It will be an important resource for years to come.

Love the compact footprint.

Had the same unit for 9 years. Replaced with same brand and size without changing plumbing. Win win!

Be Careful

I do like the softener so far so good but be very careful of the Lowes warranty. I thought I had at least 30 days to return it If it was defective. The descriptive of the warranty makes it sound like you have anywhere from 48 hours to 90 days, very confusing. If I had to return it had to be returned the same day I received as it stated on my receipt after I received the delivery.

Great water- great Lowe’s service

We had a water softener which never seemed to make a difference in our water quality. We bought this new unit and could not believe what a difference it made. Received great service and a good sale price.

Water softener

We are pleased with this water softener. We like the fact that everything you need to see is upfront, our old one we have to lift the lid. We thought we could install it ourselves but we had to call a plumber to install it. Within the hour he was done. This water softener is well built and reliable.

Just had this water softner installed so can’t yet comment on effectiveness. But purchasing was easy and the man who assisted me was helpful and knowledgeable. Time will tell but I am hopeful!

Broke at 1 year mark, filled house with brown ambe

JUNK minus stars, never really worked correctly. Got extended warranty and somehow they slipped (slimmed) out and not warrantied. 1year. Even the bottle of cleaner sold states it will have an extended warranty.- Nope.
