Motor has failed twice now in two years

Motor has failed twice now in two years. Once outside the inital one year warranty Whirlpool refused to do anything. The motor costs more than the dishwasher.

Look elsewhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything inside is cheap and flimsy! Shelves slide poorly and silverware holder slots aren't wide enough.

No drying feature.

We didn't realize that this appliance did not have the ability to dry the dishes. I'm 70 and this is the first dishwasher I've owned that did not have a setting to dry our dishes.

Rusted racks

This is the second one I bought and it rusted I would not buy this product again due to this problem

Yeah right

Only had the most unit 2 years...why in the world would it need parts? You should fix it and let the consumer judge for themselves. But that will never happen....LOL obviously.

2 years old, only problems

Our dishwasher is only two years old, and seems to have stopped working. It fills with water but does not clean. Super disappointing.

No longer heats.

I noticed that the unit was not heating. Replaced the heating element, but it seems that the mother board has been affected and nothing can be done. Have had this dishwasher 2 years.

Works good

Broke after 18 months

During the short lifespan of this dishwasher it performed ok. I liked the convenience of the silverware tray being on the door or the bottom rack. It fit plenty of dishes. But, the interior is plastic which often collected a moldy mildew on it, despite cleaning it often. I liked the ability to child-lock the control panel and the 1 hour wash option. But it was waste of money. First, the heating element stopped working which meant the dishes wouldn’t dry. Then the washer arms stopped working and ...

It Cleans

I do not normally use the dishwasher because I prefer to wash my dishes by hand and let them air dry, but due to issues when the dishwasher wasn’t used in the past I try to use it at least once a month. The thing I do not care for is that no matter what setting I put the heat cycle on it does not thoroughly dry the dishes. So, that means I still have to do it by hand.

Broke after a year and a half

Worked fine but the motor broke after a year and a half and the repair is basically the cost of the dishwasher.. buy something more sturdy

Faulty warranty

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this in March 2022 but wasn’t installed until Apr 2023. Just this month (March 2024) it quit drying the dishes. As it was more than a year purchased I called a repair man who replaced the element. That did not solve the problem. The other suggestion was the computer board and I was not willing to pay that price. It washes well but does not dry!!

1 year 11 months. Dead.

Usually have few problems with whirlpool. However, strongly do not recommend this dishwasher. Doesn't clean well and kind of noisy. Intake pump dead in less than 2 years and now I have to figure out how to replace. Grrr.

It’sa decent dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is quiet and cleans well. I don’t like the silverware in the door because it causes the door not to close when the racks are part way out. I think the hardware is a little cheap and feels fragile. But these are just my personal preferences.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had it for about 3 months. Love love love the third rack (didn’t think I would). The big dinner plates lean over. Arguing with husband about bending the tines. Cleans well. Kinda long cycle at 4 hours just run it overnight. Ask in all, very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher effectively cleans most of my loads. I have had some residue left on pots and pans (high temp cookware should be pre-scrubbed anyway). If used properly, this machine does an excellent job!
