Fails!!!!

After 20 mos. Pump failed.........11 mos. later ..Same problem. Warranty saved the day

So Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My top criteria for a dishwasher are that it looks nice, holds at least one day’s worth of dishes, cleans and dries well, is quiet, and is durable and reliable. So for far I’m very pleased. With the versatile rack design, it holds a lot of dishes. It cleans and dries very well. And it’s so quiet, you can barely hear that it’s running. I’ve had it only a month, so the jury is still out on reliability. But so far, I’m very happy.

Good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Builder installed & wish they had upgraded to third shelf dishwasher. This is OK. Had one like this b4 in another house. Did the job but crowded silverware & some cup tops didnt completely dry if I used a liquid dishwasher detergent. Al in all very satisfactory!

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro: it’s new, it works (Sort of) It washes well. Con: never ending wash cycle. Does not dry well. Bottom rack is too low. Lots of bending to load, then unload. I would rather hand wash than hurt my back more. It is very shiny stainless. Does not match other stainless in kitchen.

Quiet, easy to load, dishes sparkling clean

goodunit, BUT ...

This dishwasher works well, but there is a serious design deficiency. The rotating blade under the top rack squirts water into the top rack. There are small holes that the water squirts out of. Debris can get into the system and clog up these holes. It's almost impossible to clean them. You can dismount the blade, and stick a wire in the holes to push the debris inside, but then it just stays in the blade and replugs when you use it again. There is no easy way to clean the debris out of the blad...

This dishwasher seems to work well. The user interface is good, and the noise level is low. But there is one serious deficiency. The rotating blade in the center section, that sprays water into the upper rack, has a faulty design. There are small holes that the water squirts out of, BUT they can get plugged with debris. Absolute trash

Within 2 years I now need a whole new pump and motor. It’s already had one major repair. Only offer was spend more than half purchase price to fix or discount to buy again. Are you kidding???? Absolute garbage. They should be ashamed.

This is the worst dishwasher we have ever had. We have had it for 2 years and it has never washed a load of dishes properly. It's very frustrating.

It does ok not great but ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dishwasher recently and it is not that good. I have had much better dishwashers in the past. It cleans the dishes ok but would have liked a seperate rinse cycle and a dish warmer or seperate just dry cycle.

Whirlpool motor breaks after warranty expires

Came with my brand new home probably as a developer install preference. First Whirlpool wouldnt honor my home purchase as the warranty start so I lost my warranty as soon as I bought the home. Two years of it being used, the motor broke. Customer Service couldnt provide anything other than a discount code for a new dishwasher. Whirlpool/Maytag used to be names of long lasting and quality especially since Whirlpool has less advanced features subject to issues. Seems based on other reviewers too, ...

A great value

Worst Dishwasher

Worst dishwasher owned.Does not wash pots & pans very well. Does not dry dishes. My old Whrilpool dishwasher was much better.

SAVE YOUR MONEY

Nothing like our old one . Pots & pans do not come out very clean, Does not dry very well. Always had Whirlpool appliances. Would look elsewhere for dishwasher.

Silverware basket on the door is a great design!

One feature that I loved in my old dishwasher was the silverware basket on the door and was delighted to find this on my new dishwasher as well. 2nd Whirlpool in 5 years and both broke down

The first Whirlpool I bought in 2019 from Lowes and the heating element was replace3d twice. During the pandemic they could not source the part so I purchased a new dishwasher, almost identical to the one I had. Since 2021 the heating element on the second one burned out and Whirlpool did not replace it, even though it was under warranty. As of May 2024, the second Whirlpool dishwasher died, and I have lost my faith in the brand. It will cost more to fix than purchasing a new one. I am not rich ...
