Would Not RecommendI bought this a week ago and when it was installed and I got home to hear the fan I said is the fan on?? Yes it was, both speeds sound the same so I am thinking either something is wrong with the fan( which I think there is) or this is a terrible product. I have a tech person coming to check it out, but from the reviews its seems like the same problem. Also from afar you can see the vent screen which I don't like but I guess I can live with it. It's quiet, but ...
Would Not Recommend... the suction is so poor that the paint on the wall next to the oven started to blister when boiling water. I had to remove the filter screen to get it to begin to compensate, but that only worked to a small degree. I'll be replacing this.

Would RecommendWe removed an over the range microwave oven and replaced it with the Whirlpool range hood. The fan is whisper quiet at both low and high speed. The stainless finish enhances the stainless finish on the range. Installation was a breeze.

Would Not RecommendThis 190 CFM Range Hood should not be sold. The minimum should be the 250 CFM or 300 CFM.This unit has good design but very POOR suction.The other Whirlpool products I bought are great.

Fan is too weak.
Would Not RecommendThe fan will not suck in any steam. It is far too weak, not sure why it's even being sold. We had to remove that fan and install my old hood fan. I really just needed a new range hood because the old one was outdated and missing some parts. I don't have any other complaints about the design but I would not recommend this product unless you have no problem with installing a stronger fan yourself.

We have appliances from different manufacturers, so we were looking for low cost, nice different look, and simplicity. Our old hood did not vent to the outside and was from the late 1980's.
