Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000DFcv Recoil Start 5000 Starting / 3901 Running Watt Gasoline, Liquid propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Quality product

Very high quality generator and it stated on the first pull. Very glad I bought this product.

Starts and runs great

Pretty happy with it it's quiet starts and runs great no complaint so far.

Great little generator

Although I had no idea about how to buy a generator, I went out on a limb and bought the 5000 DFC model. We’ve taken it out a couple of times and it works great.

Great Generator

I purchased this to run my camper and it runs everything air, microwave and.all

A generator that requires a battery to start...

Generator works well except for the fact that it requires a battery to start. Kinda defeats the whole purpose. Tried the pull cord for 30 or 40 pulls, nothing. Put the battery on the charger for just a bit and started fine with the pull string. AND the battery used is a very odd size and I can't find a replacement that isn't some off brand trash. The provided battery only lasted a year or so.

Great product

This generator is easy to assemble and easy to operate. Definitely worth the money.

Well built

I purchased for a backup generator for our home. I am really pleased with how easy it was to setup. It is really well built and designed.

Generator for multiple uses

This generator is what I would consider, exceptional. This is a very quiet generator compared to previously owned generators. It is weight proportionate for its size. I did get the dual fuel option, not sure I will use it but its a good option to have. I did notice reading the book that the propane fuel does have a bit of a shorter run time but not significant. There is a very convenient, telescoping pull handle. This is very sturdy handle, and stows away out of sight when not in use. The remote...

It's quiet and it fits my truck

I am one in a family of pretend farmers who have several not-quite-long-enough 20 Amp extension cords. Problem solved. Thank you.

Awesome generator

I love the dual fuel system. Can run it with my propane from my RV when I’m out of gas. Runs smoothly and very quiet. The 30 amps run my RV just fine. Great product.

Nice generator the push button fob is nice

The generator runs fine I like the DF propane option. And the key fob start. I added oil, hooked up propane and battery turned on the unit and it started right up. It is super quiet 10+ for this generator

Beware on initial start up. Poor quality control.

My unit leaked gasoline on initial fill up and soaked the controls with fuel. It turned out to be a split fuel hose going to the shut off valve. Easily repaired but should have been caught during QC at the factory, if it was test run as stated in the manual. Unit is very quiet and performs very well after repairs were made.

RV ready, Easy setup

I received my generator in a timely matter. Put oil in it and it started right up. I am impressed with the quietness. I love that I can use gas or propane.

Quiet and efficient

My friend has 2 of these units they have worked flawlessly for 4 years and still running strong. I decided too buy one for myself.
