Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen4000DFc Remote Electric Start 4000 Starting / 3300 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Brand New

Brand New but it started right up without issue, would recommend

Easily cranks.

Have used the generator about 4 hrs so far. Easy to set up. I have only used propane as I want to avoid potentially storing gasoline remnants. Cranks easily. Be careful not to overtighten the propane hose to generator. I use it at home, tailgating and on boat.

Generator perfect for my needs

Generator works perfectly and fits my needs. Small and weighs just enough to carry without straining.

Fully meets my needs

Perfect for my needs. Filed the oil, hooked up the battery leads and hooked up the propane. It started immediately and successfully ran my gas power tools

Perfect for my needs

I filled it up with the included oil, connected the battery leads, pared the remote, hooked up the propane and fired it up with the remote start. It started instantly and stabilized within seconds. I plugged in an electric drill just to make sure the output worked. No issues. I then hooked up a solar generator for charging and it charged at 1692 watts and topped off the power station without a hitch. It should work perfectly to charge my solar generator when no sun is available, as well as prov...

Compact and duel fuel

I just bought this generator. I love that it is compact, has wheels, and a long handle. Looking forward to enjoying it.

Nice Design

Very easy to set up and break in. I appreciate the screw-in funnel for filling then oil. Started right up very easily.

Solid build

I just bought it so I don’t have a lot of real world use out of it yet to review. But build quality is good and clean and the unit is easy to transport with the wheels and handle.

Just received

I haven't had a chance to test it all out yet, but am looking forward to using the remote start and duel fuel capabilities of this generator.

I have not started the generator yet but it looks like it was built well

Nice compact generator, great pull out arm for easy moving

Would recommend

Bought our first generator iGen4000DFc and love it. runs as it should light weight and much quieter than others we see.

Battery Starter is a great feature

Just purchased and started up generator. To date everything is operating as expected and certainly appears to be the right choice for running a camper off grid.

Works Great

Bought this generator couple weeks ago. Runs great, quit, and easily mobile

Runs good

Just bought the unit. Started up great! Sounds good. Hopefully it continues to run like it is right now

Works really well and easy to use

We bought this because we had 3 power outages in the last year. We plugged in two refrigerators, a fan, two lamps, a computer, our TV, sound system, Xbox, cable box, modem, and router. The load was at 25% max with all of that and it was super quiet on our back deck. We ran our vacuum and the load jumped to 50% and it was still quiet in our living room. It was easy to start and the instructions were clear. This is really nice for an emergency to keep your food cold and keep your internet and TV ru...

Exceeds my camping expectations!

I bought this inverter a few weeks ago to run my 30’ travel trailer while camping off grid. It has functioned well for my needs. Love the dual fuel and multiple starting options including key fob. This comes in very handy when it’s early morning or late at night and I don’t want to go outside. Quality product. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and recommend it to others.

Igen4000

Bought this recently, so far very easy to use, quiet and seems perfect for powering our RV.

Like the features

It just arrived yesterday and I have been reading through the manual. Looks easy enough We'll see how it runs this weekend when we go on our first camping trip with it.

Beautiful machine

I'm a certified trained journeyman machinist and master millwright. This is the cleanest best designed gen unit I have seen. The packing was superior, it's pretty, and runs like a champ. Finally someone wrote an instruction book that understandable and very complete. Replacement parts pictures and lists are beautiful. Thanks for a great product!!
