Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen4000DFc Remote Electric Start 4000 Starting / 3300 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

EXCELLENT GENERATOR

We purchased the dual fuel generator to use when needed while camping with our fifth wheel. We have used it multiple times and each time it has worked flawlessly. The electric start was wonderful to use. It provided reliable power every time we have used it this far. It is light enough that I can lift it into the bed of the truck or the storage unit of the RV by myself. I highly recommend purchasing this generator.

Convenient

I bought this for my cab over camper to put on my camper bumper carrier, it’s lightweight, quiet and best of all its remote start.I can start it lying in bed!!! I also like the dual fuel!!

Nice generator

I havent tried it yet. But it looks user friendly, also easy to transport due to carrying handle.

Good Setup Instructions

Instructions and setup were easy. Looking forward to cranking it up!

Most Well Thought Out Gen, Long Life Guidence

Very impressed. Aside from dual fuel, remote start and such, Westinghouse hase provided an excellent owner's manual that includes maintenance service details, even down to how to set spark plug gap and valve adjustments. I also applaud their serious recommendation oin using non-ethanol gas and gas stabilizer. I've always done that and my generators would start on the third pull even after sitting unused for two years. All in all, this is the most thought out generator set I've ever experienced.

Just bought generator. Super easy to operate. Ran generator on propane. Easy to start and ran really quite. Looking forward to using it.

Answer to my prayers!

I have high hopes that this generator will be the answer to my prayers. I plan to use it when I'm down at a small off-the-grid cabin so that I will no longer need to go outside just to start the generator when I want to use the microwave. With the remote start option, I feel that this will make my stays much more enjoyable. With the option to also run the generator on propane, it's good to know that I now don't have to worry running out of gas; knowing that I will be able to back it up with a pr...

Perfect Size and Weight & dual fuel options

The generator is a perfect size for our emergency needs and easy to move/use (for a 64-year-old woman). The dual fuel options are a plus, with the ability to use propane or gasoline.

Great generator plenty of power great remote.

Bought this for our travel trailer. Mounted it on the rear bumper added some padding to keep the vibration at a medium. Used it this last weekend while at a music festival. Worked flawless. Only ran on propane no gasoline smell and it ran perfectly.

Nice Generator. AWFUL Service

I bought this iGen4000DFC remote start generator a month ago. It was faulty straight from the box. Never would start a single time. I was past the 48-hour return window with Lowe's by this point so I decided to see if Westinghouse would do something about it. I never asked Lowes. Stupid me. VERY long story short, Westinghouse jerked me around for a month sending automated emails that were not relevant, not paying attention to anything I said in 4 different phone calls, taking over a week to even...

love it

love that i can run on propane. haven't use for long time but easy start

Good Fit for my set up

Bought this about a week ago and am happy with the ease of initial start up. I use my RV quite a bit and have ventured into boondocking in the southern states and this will fit in well with the rig. I bought it specifically for the LPG ability for a cleaner setup. The generator will be perfect for my limited lithium battery set up with 15,000 BTU air conditioner needs.

Not so great features

The generator was really what we thought we wanted but when it didn't run because of temperature outside and altitude, because it's not rated for eighter and no one explained that when we bought it. It was a bummer. Needless to say we are bringing it back.

Great features

Purchased this for my home. My kid takes it to the MSU games for his tailgate partied. It easy to use, quite and dependable. Being able to use propane so he doesnt gas out his neighbors is a great feature. Having remote start is way easy and fun to ise.

Bad regulator

The regulator started leaking and can’t find a replacement

great features, electric start and dual fuels

I purchased this generator last month but have not used it yet,but will be soon

Brand New

Brand New but it started right up without issue, would recommend

Easily cranks.

Have used the generator about 4 hrs so far. Easy to set up. I have only used propane as I want to avoid potentially storing gasoline remnants. Cranks easily. Be careful not to overtighten the propane hose to generator. I use it at home, tailgating and on boat.
