In the process of starting it

I'm just starting with it, and I'm going through all the manual to be sure I'm doing everything correctly, and it looks good so far.

Very quiet, light weight

Just bought the 2800DFc - put oil in as stated (it took the bottle provided) spark plug was NOT broken. Baby started right up after adding a little gas. Was very happy to buy MADE IN USA! I will try to remember to check back in after its had a chance to be used.

Filled with fuel and it leaked out thru the air filter housing.

So Far, So Good

Easy set up, started on second pull with propane. Needed a small inverter generator to charge my emergency back up battery, and this is perfect.

Works as advertised. Easy to start - quiet operation.

I just picked it up and have to leave a review to get a cover so can only give it two stars all I can say is it started

Awesome generator!

Bought this for trips with the truck camper to run the a/c and fridge--it does, and easily! Love having the extra outlets and being RV ready. Dual fuel is an added bonus! Seems well made, easy start, quieter than others.

Generator

Bought it about a week ago. The oil enclosed was spilled everywhere and it looked like a used unit but it runs fine and very quiet. Can power my RV and 8k BTU floor AC for 8.5 hours on one tank.

I purchased 1 unit in February 2026. Bought a backup in March 2026. Both units have failed, and Lowes would not help, and the manufacturer was not helpful. I'm out $1100. for 2 units, both made in Sep 25. I would not purchase

Value Features Smart

Seems to be a well built and affordable generator. Duel fuel is the best option so you don't have to deal with gas -carb issues leaving fuel in one for extended times. 3 year warranty is always appreciated.

Very good form factor, and can keep the essentials running in a short duration power outage.

igen 2800 DFC

I got this (igen 2800 DFc) generator to power some sensitive electronics. I haven't had it long but it seems like it will be good. Voltage at ¼ load is 123, frequency is 60 HZ, thd is 0.3. Starts on the first or second pull. Runs smooth. I also have a Westinghouse WH7500E that I got back in early 2015 to run my whole house. It been so good I did not hesitate to get another Westinghouse.

Fantastic Product

I waited till the next day after receiving my unit as to get a fresh tank of propane. Followed the easy-to-follow quick start guide and WOW when I pulled that cord it started first time. It is so quiet that it sounds like a battery-operated tire inflator. WOW so quiet. It came to my home undamaged and fast via shipping. What a quality piece of equipment. I feel very comfortable now that I have that backup to keep some things running in my home when the next storm related outage occurs.
