Would Not RecommendI purchased 1 unit in February 2026. Bought a backup in March 2026. Both units have failed, and Lowes would not help, and the manufacturer was not helpful. I'm out $1100. for 2 units, both made in Sep 25. I would not purchase

Seems to be a well built and affordable generator. Duel fuel is the best option so you don't have to deal with gas -carb issues leaving fuel in one for extended times. 3 year warranty is always appreciated.

igen 2800 DFC
I got this (igen 2800 DFc) generator to power some sensitive electronics. I haven't had it long but it seems like it will be good. Voltage at ¼ load is 123, frequency is 60 HZ, thd is 0.3. Starts on the first or second pull. Runs smooth. I also have a Westinghouse WH7500E that I got back in early 2015 to run my whole house. It been so good I did not hesitate to get another Westinghouse.

Fantastic Product
Would RecommendI waited till the next day after receiving my unit as to get a fresh tank of propane. Followed the easy-to-follow quick start guide and WOW when I pulled that cord it started first time. It is so quiet that it sounds like a battery-operated tire inflator. WOW so quiet. It came to my home undamaged and fast via shipping. What a quality piece of equipment. I feel very comfortable now that I have that backup to keep some things running in my home when the next storm related outage occurs.

Would RecommendThe unit started on the second pull and is extremely quiet compared to other generators I have had. It worked perfectly for charging my solar generator. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a midsize generator.

Westinghouse IGEN2850DFc ~ Easy to Carry
Would RecommendUnboxed, easy removal, undamaged, everything included, looked good. Added included oil, ran with ethanol free gasoline to break in, changed the oil. Used once with a 6.5-Amp electric pole saw and 14.5-Amp chainsaw. Worked fine. Hope it is reliable and lasts.
