Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen2800c Recoil Start 2800 Starting / 2200 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

Great value

I’m glad I bought this generator, so if we have another power outage we will have to use!

Great little gen

Bought this because of frequent outages. The iGen2800c has plenty of power to keep the fridge cold and the lights on. It is much quieter than my previous generator, and is safe for my electronics

Nice small unit

Small and enough power for my fridge and a few more things. Long run time. :)

First thing I reach for when the lights go out!

Better price and more power than other generators I looked at. I run a 12 gauge cord into the house and it runs the refrigerator and a fan and charges all our phones and cordless drill batteries for the lights. Does what I need and uses less fuel than my big generator.

Good Purchase!

I bought this generator to replace an old model, I like it’s easy to handle,

Good product

Easy to use and quiet. Happy I purchased this generator

Excellent value

Super quiet, easy to maintain, best westinghouse product I have ever purchased

Must in a emergancy

I used my Dad's Westinghouse invertor during hurricane Herlene and it was a blessing. Even 10 years old it worked well. It was compact, quiet, and gas efficient. Nothing more you can ask for during a disaster so had to buy my own for next emergency

Great size

Just bought for a backup good size lightweight seems to be able to do the job

Good product

Great for hunting, quiet and affordable. Good quality

So far so good

I put oil/gas in, and it cranked right up. Lots of cool features. I’m pleased so far.

Well made and sturdy

Just bought this after Helene got the next one. Will run two refrigerators all the appliances and lights we need. Good run time and quality materials. Bought based on the Westinghouse power washer we have. Great products at reasonable prices.

Powered through hurricane Helene

This generator is a great product! It started easily and ran flawlessly during the 9.5 days we were without power due to the hurricane. It powered our deep freezer, refrigerator, lighting throughout my home along with some comfort electronics such as the WiFi router ,microwave ,tv’s and fans. We even used it to power our washing machine after other items were powered off. The output never surpassed 50% with the above items drawing power from it. My intention is to buy another and link them toge...

Great generator

Great generator long run time. We are happy with this purchase.

Built solid

Seems solid. Came quicker than I expected. Fired up easy.

Perfect unit for our needs

After much research and comparing many different models, I am so glad I purchased the iGen2800c. We don't often need a generator, due to our RV solar capacity, but it's great to know that we have this reliable workhorse when we do.

Perfect for city dwellers

We recently had a 9 day power outage. This generator was the perfect solution. It provided enough power for the essentials and is super quiet. Perfect for a city home so you don't disturb your neighbors. The digital display is very convenient, takes out the guess work. With the eco mode it uses very little fuel. I can't wait to try it out at our next tailgate!

Long running time on little gas

We were hit by Helene with no power or water. After a week we decided to order a small generator. This one ran from 11:00 pm until 7:30 am on 1 gallon of gas! Amazing!

All in one relief and peace of mind

I bought this after extensive research, the time taken was totally worth it. Easy to move around, very quiet and does everything we need to give peace of mind for power outages
