Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen1500c Recoil Start 1500 Starting / 1000 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

Great

Works for our needs. Very quiet as compared to our last generator.

So far so good

This is an initial review- I just received the generator so it has not gotten any real use yet, just some testing in my back yard. Overall seems like a good value for what it is. Pros so far: +Came with the exact amount of oil needed as well as a funnel that screws into the oil port. +Light weight, I will have no issues lifting this in and out of my truck (unlike a family member's Honda 2000i that I borrowed) +Quiet- not as quiet as the Honda, but I knew it wouldn't be. +Easy to start. Easy to start

Bought this generator this month. It was packaged nice and ran with no problems right out of the box.

Night fishing!

Got this little generator for night fishing on our boat. Needed something that wouldn't be cumbersome and quiet enought not to scare fish or leave us deaf. The igen1500 (gas) checks all the boxes we needed. It powers up our lights isn't a pain to carry on and off. Great addition for my family.

Great little generator

Love it. Quiet enough and provides the power that it advertised.

Lightweight and easy portable. I am 88

Put in oil and gas 1 pull and it started right up and runs smoothly

Lightweight

Bought due to good reviews online and on you-tube.

Portable generator

Seems ok so far. Hopefully it will be a good one.

light weight / easy start

Very light to pick up and carry, Easy setup, oil supplied with unit . Start pull very easy and fires first pull. ECO throttles up when larger load is applied. Satisfied so far .

Looks good

Just got this. It fits my needs. Not too heavy and well laid out

Great product

This thing is sweet! Fired it up first try and it’s actually pretty quiet I’m impressed

Exactly what we needed.

We travel for trade shows and this will be used for fans lighting TVs and air conditioning.

Good Generator

I purchased this generator a few years ago. I just now needed to run it and use it. It seems to operate perfectly. It was able to run everything I needed!

Easy oil fill and change

Just got it put oil in it and gas and fired right up. Looking forward to lighting up my cabin.

Good, except runtime is shorter than advertised.

Seems to work well, but runtime on a full tank is shorter than the 9 hours that were advertised.

Awesome!

Just as expected! It is small and light weight. It’s quote and exactly what we needed to charge our solar inverter.
