Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen12000DFc Remote Electric Start 240 Volt 12000 Starting / 9000 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Perfect for what I need

I plan to use this on propane for a whole-house power source for power outages. So far I've used it a short time on gasoline for running power tools, and it works great, and it quiet!

iGen12000TFc

Looks very well built. I appreciate the quality of the supplied tools to install the wheels, stabilizer feet, and the handle. The only "issue" were the supplied bolts for the wheels. Let's just say cross threading is nature's lock tight.

Remote start is wonderful

Starts right up first try. Carries a load and the digital data display is really great. Heavy duty model that will carry my whole house once I put a soft start on my AC. Not looking for a power outage, but if it comes I'm ready.

Excellent I verter

This is everything I wanted and more! Surprised how quiet it is for the size of this inverter

Nice machine

So far I am very pleased with this unit, built well and seems to be just what I needed

Very pleased with the output and features.

I recently purchased the Westinghouse iGen12000TFc generator after a few long power outages. The unit provides enough power to run what’s needed for my home. The electric and remote start are nice additions, but still has the pull start if needed. The gasoline tank holds almost eight gallons, so plenty of run time between fill-ups. I have not run it on propane or natural gas, but additional fuel options are a good thing, albeit at a lower output wattage. The control panel has a good layout...

Worked well at first, started leaking fuel in 7 mo

Worked very well, runs quiet but now I'm having issues with it leaking fuel after seven months of use. Bracing to see what their warrantee process is like.

easy to setup and start

Generator was easy to setup and started immediately. It runs quieter than any I've had and I'm happy with the flexible fuel options.

iGen12000TFc

Hands down, one of the best generators I've ever owned, completely blew away Generac portable generator, barely even a blip when my AC came on, didn't even have to put in a soft starter for my AC. I love the front panel showing the kilowatt usage, the highest it got with my AC unit was about 8K, which is great. And it is by far the quietest generator I've ever heard, even when it's under load and it ramps up.

Wonderful

Great inverter generator. Seems beefy and able to provider the power needed.

Exactly what I was looking for

After extensive research and looking at reviews, I purchased the iGen11000TFc Inverter Generator to pair with my home battery backup system. Set up was easy, documentation and instructions were clear. The generator started right up and is very quiet! Glad I got it prior to the start of winter storm season.

Great upgrade for my 30 year old Generac. Look great.

iGen12000TFc

Just received my Westinghouse iGen12000TFc generator. Easy assembly out of the box. Less than half an hour to install stabilizers, tires and add oil. Ready to fuel up and start break-in. More comments after running for a while.

Love the look and the fact I have options for fuel

I just bought this genartor and pick it up did a test run on propane and is quiet enough to talk normal around at idle have not ran anything off of it yet need to get the house side setup first

Awesome looking Generator

Looks great hope it works that way. Just received today

I bought this to have backup house power and to power my camper. Works great and is quiet for a big generator.

Good value

So far things are going ran for 5hrs. Under liw loads very quite. Under higher loads still quite than my other generator.

great features

I am very satisfied with this generator. I recommend it

So far so good.

I've only just received this generator and have yet to use it fully. However, I did go through the break-in process, and I can tell already that it's well made and well designed. It's also MUCH quieter than my last open-frame non-inverter generator.
