Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen12000DFc Remote Electric Start 240 Volt 12000 Starting / 9000 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Inverter generator

Just received the generator. Looks great. Should meet my need nicely.

What a generator

Very happy purchase easy set up and can't wait to use it.

Great Features

Enjoying the freedom of running on propane or gasoline and the auto start key fob.

Excellent generator

Tool kit that is supplied is good quality and the generator maintenance instructions are detailed, works as intended.

Should be much quieter than old on

This replaces my old generator which was not an inverter. Have not had opportunity to use yet.

Perfect Portable Whole House Generator

I bought this generator this month after a recent power outage. I don't want to get caught with my pants down again. I researched this purchase for a week and decided on this generator because it fit my needs in terms of price, brand reputation warranty 93 years), versatility (tri-fuel), key start, and portability. It should be able to function as a whole house generator while still being portable enough to take it with me when I move. Last but not least it's about 25% of the price of a Generac ...

It was an easy setup. Hopefully we won't need it, but in the event we do we are ready and confident we will be able to power our home with our great purchase

New purchase

Just bought and am looking forward to the quiet power it will generate

Great Features

I brought in August 2026. Still have not used it but looks great!

EZ setup

Generator came with a full owners manual, startup oil and funnel. Haven’t set it up yet but I’m a novice and I understand what I need to do.

iGen12000TFc

Just picked this generator up. Everything included in the packaging, Yay. Easy setup for the wheels, leveling blocks, and handle. I marked the level on the oil bottle and will keep/use it for future oil changes. Plugged the battery charger in so I am prepared to run the break-in period. Hoping for the best.

Perfect for what I need

I plan to use this on propane for a whole-house power source for power outages. So far I've used it a short time on gasoline for running power tools, and it works great, and it quiet!

iGen12000TFc

Looks very well built. I appreciate the quality of the supplied tools to install the wheels, stabilizer feet, and the handle. The only "issue" were the supplied bolts for the wheels. Let's just say cross threading is nature's lock tight.

Remote start is wonderful

Starts right up first try. Carries a load and the digital data display is really great. Heavy duty model that will carry my whole house once I put a soft start on my AC. Not looking for a power outage, but if it comes I'm ready.

Excellent I verter

This is everything I wanted and more! Surprised how quiet it is for the size of this inverter

Nice machine

So far I am very pleased with this unit, built well and seems to be just what I needed

Very pleased with the output and features.

I recently purchased the Westinghouse iGen12000TFc generator after a few long power outages. The unit provides enough power to run what’s needed for my home. The electric and remote start are nice additions, but still has the pull start if needed. The gasoline tank holds almost eight gallons, so plenty of run time between fill-ups. I have not run it on propane or natural gas, but additional fuel options are a good thing, albeit at a lower output wattage. The control panel has a good layout...

Worked well at first, started leaking fuel in 7 mo

Worked very well, runs quiet but now I'm having issues with it leaking fuel after seven months of use. Bracing to see what their warrantee process is like.

easy to setup and start

Generator was easy to setup and started immediately. It runs quieter than any I've had and I'm happy with the flexible fuel options.
