What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this ladder for exceptional stability, versatility, and durability. Most highlight its rock-solid construction and wide base design, calling it the only ladder they'll ever need. Reviewers consistently emphasize its remarkable adaptability across multiple configurations—step ladder, extension ladder, scaffold, and stairway mode—replacing several separate ladders. Many use it confidently for diverse tasks from ceiling repairs to gutter cleaning. The primary drawback is its significant weight, with some noting difficulty operating locking mechanisms alone. Despite this trade-off, most customers strongly recommend it.

Would RecommendFirst ladder of this kind that I've owned. So far it's every bit as good as I'd hoped.

Misleading advertising
Would RecommendThey advertise this ladder as 22 ft. but it only measures 19 ft. at from tip to tip at its highest setting. This information should included in the advertisement and on the packaging.

Very versitile ladder
Would RecommendI haven't used it on a project yet but will as soon as spring gets here. It appears to be well made and capable of all the uses it claims. The 22 foot version may be a little heavy for some people but it is easier to handle than my 24 foot extension ladder, which I use regularly. I can still use it pretty good and I am 71 years old, but I am constantly involved in projects that require handling a ladder. It will replace my 24 ft. extension ladder on a lot of projects and help me operate safer on...

Great ladder, but a little heavy
Would RecommendI have another multi-position ladder I bough years ago and while a 17' version it is much lighter than this one. Weight increase could be do to the length and not a huge issue, but just be aware it is heavy.

Better than advertised!
Would RecommendI should have purchased this years ago! It works in all the configurations advertised, and is much easier to set up than other folding ladders I've used (i.e. Little Giant). It is sturdy, so weighs about 50lbs, but that's not bad for all the ladder you get. I've used it up to 19' in the air, and I weigh 280 lbs, and it was strong and secure under me. Great versatile ladder to have around!

Excellent quality ladder
Would RecommendPurchased this ladder with the help of Twana (assistant store manager). She is always very helpful and knowledgeable. Ladder does everything I want it to do. Only concern is Werner says the ladder is 22', but is iisactually only 19' !? I knew this up front, so it wasn't an issue!

ingenious design
Would RecommendIt really does work well as both a step ladder and an extension ladder. Opening and closing it, and adjusting the height, is a bit cumbersome. In particular, I found that closing it after using it as a step ladder at max height was a pain. However, I would buy this again without hesitation.

Excellent but Heavy
Would RecommendThis ladder is superbly designed and built. It meets countless needs whether I need a short or tall step ladder or varying heights of an extensions ladder. The only downside is its weight. If your job requires many set-ups or the need to carry it long distances, it gets tiresome. But that is the nature of these multi-position ladders. I don't find it to be any worse than any other of this style.

Wonderful Ladder!
Would RecommendExtremely high quality ladder, very stable in use. While some may find it just a bit heavy, its convenience more than compensates for that. This ladder is really the only option for those who want to use a taller ladder but don't want to tote around or store a tall folding ladder. This one is really compact, and is super useful! Thank you, Werner!!

Worth the money
Would RecommendI never do reviews because most products aren't worth rating. In this case, I feel this is definitely worth the money. Especially since it was 20% off plus I had another 10% coupon on top of that. I used this for hanging Christmas lights and painting trim around my house. It was so easy to use and much more stable than I had anticipated. I had rented a regular extension ladder from Home Depot in the past to paint the trim on the second story of my house and felt very uncomfortable with the stabi...

No other Ladder ever needed.
Would RecommendSo I just got my Werner 22ft ladder and was able to quickly get it into the position with out any issue. While it is a little heavy it more then makes up for that with the stability and ease of use. Looking for a ladder that is an extension ladder or just a taller ladder? Spend the few extra bucks! You won't regret it.

Excellent ladder
Would RecommendEasy to use ladder with six separate locking mechanisms. Very sturdy and has dual rungs that add step stability to your climb. Easily locks into multiple configurations allowing you to reach where ever you need to be. I purchased during a 20% off ladder sale and it was well worth the money. This purchase allowed me to clean my gutters with ease.

Get a regular extension ladder
Would Not RecommendDo yourself a favor and buy a regular extension ladder. Two things make this very hard to use. First, you cannot raise or lower it without taking it down where a regular ladder you can work with the rope. Second, a regular ladder is light at the high end, while this is very heavy at the far end. Since you always have to handle it from below the balance point, it can be VERY hard to set in place. Go for the regular kind ladder with a rope.
