Would Not RecommendUnfortunately after pre heating and adding meat (ribeye steaks, chicken breast, pork chops, ect) and closing the door immediately afterwards, the temp is very difficulty to keep at a nigh temp. Only the first side gets decent grill marks. Second side looks less like it came from a bbq.

Good but not good enough
Good but not good enough, maybe good for an e-grill. It gets hot and sometimes after a while the temp drops.. and the weather outside is quite steady all year long. Grill is always clean.

best alternative to gas or charcoal
Would RecommendCan't have gas or charcoal due to insurance policies where I live. Really bummed I had to sell my trusty old Weber gas grill. But the Lumin electric grill has been very good. I'm very happy with the purchase and have several friends in my neighborhood who also have the Lumin grill and are just extremely happy with it as well.
