Would RecommendOnly used this twice since purchase but extremely happy. Grilled out one nite in Minnesota with gusty winds and 45 degree temps (still balmy) and inside grill temp registered over 600 degrees. Preheat was pretty rapid and nearly 5 minutes faster than instructions indicated. Clean up could be a little challenging trying to work around heating element and push debris through small holes in bottom to empty into grease trap.

My thoughts on the Lumin Portable Electric Grill
Would RecommendAfter preheating the grill is plenty hot and does a great job of cooking steaks ,burgers, dogs, etc. I'm sure chicken would be no problem too I just haven't done it yet. The grill is well made but it is heavy. A good and bad thing . Cleaning the interior is a bit of a pain . Its doable but I feel it could be made easier. I like that its fast, portable, doesn't require some kind of fuel to operate, and it does a great job grilling food for a few people.

Great Electric Grill
Would RecommendI purchased this Lumin grill to replace an older small propane grill. I have been very happy with my new Lumin Grill, with the steamer basket I can steam corn on the cob, grill burgers and hot dogs at the same time. It heats up fast and I love the thermometer.

Weak Grill, more like an oven
Would Not RecommendThis grill is weak. It takes a full 20 minutes to heat up. When you open the lid, the temp. drops like a rock. With the lid closed, it climbs like a snail climbing a light pole. It's time to flip the food before it can get back to 450. Temp drops when I flip. The food should be done a few minutes later but the temp is only back to 350. That's not grilling. Is the food done?
