Tried inserts and griddle pans on grill and they just were too cumbersome. Finally jumped and purchased. Now have grill, smoker and griddle. Comments on the griddle it is easy to use and clean. Would RecommendI am very pleased with the design & performance of this griddle. I am new to this style, but I trust the Weber product to be of a superior quality. There is a learning curve if not familiar, so take the time to read and follow the initial set up instructions to prepare the grill top for use. Also be sure to have the necessary accesories on hand.

Would Not RecommendGriddle rusted after just seven months…not really useable. I seasoned it and used it for six months no problem…always clean/covered. Not so rusty I’ll be tossing it…and of course the warranty excludes rust…how convenient.
