What Customers Are Saying
The grill offers excellent performance and versatility, with the ability to both smoke and sear at high temperatures. It heats up quickly and maintains consistent temperatures, producing delicious and flavorful results. Many customers report the grill is easy to use, with intuitive controls and helpful features. However, some have experienced issues with the pellet feed system, temperature fluctuations, and wireless connectivity. The updated second generation model has addressed many of these concerns, and customers with the newer version generally report a very positive experience.

Would Not RecommendAt about 1 year I am having issues with the igniter for the pellets. I am having issues getting it fixed and would like to know if there is a service I can get out to fix it.

Good smoker
Would Not RecommendA lot of room and smokes well! The hopper is behind the grill and doesn’t feed pellets for long smokes, greater then 5 hours, without having to move the pellets around. Mine keeps flaming out around the 3 hour mark, haven’t been able to trouble shoot it down very well.

SmokeFire👍👍👍
Would RecommendI’ve had my SmokeFire for a month or so and it’s worked perfectly. I also have a Genesis natural gas grill which works great. but it couldn’t produce the perfectness that the chicken cooked on my brother-in-laws pellet grill did. Great flavor (hint of smoke), crispy skin and moist meat! So far I’ve cooked chicken twice on the SmokeFire, perfection. I’ll keep using the Genesis for steaks, chops, burgers and dogs. Looking forward to expanding into ribs etc on the SmokeFire too.

Good smoker, bad grill
Would Not RecommendI've used pellet smoker/grills before and when used as a grill, food tastes grilled. This one does not. I can't really describe why, but even when the temp is "cranked" to try to seer the food tastes more baked than grilled. As a smoker, its great. But I grill much more than I smoke so I'm disappointed. My fault... I should've done more research before buying. So if you're looking for a smoker, this one will do the trick. But if you also want to grill, I don't recommend.

Can't cook over 400 degrees.
Would Not RecommendI got this because the temp range said 200 to 600 so I could smoke and grill. Every time I set temp to above 400, it will cook but then the next time I go to use it the igniter won't ignite. It seems it cooks the igniter if you cook over 400.

Honest Experience - Weber Customer for Life
Would RecommendI've done so many cooks with my EX4 1st Gen with great success and great comments about the meats I smoked and grilled. I wish it had the rotisserie option but my kettle one will take care of that.

Terrible Design Flaws, AVOID
Would Not RecommendOh boy, where to start. TLDR: - SERIOUS design flaw with glow plug starter system. It will not detect if there is a problem with the starter and will keep dumping pellets into the pit. - Getting to and replacing the glow plug is difficult and time consuming. - Glow plugs are expensive. - Not reliable for anything other than a few burgers, since the glow plug constantly goes out. Forget about a long smoke, or even a short smoke... - No built-in angled drip pan to prevent flareups from...
Absolutely terrible
Would Not RecommendI've had mine for a year and I've experienced all of the following: rusted inside parts, thremal runway resulting in huge great fire (and charred brisket), jammed pellets, mid-cook software updates that fail and stop cooking for an hour+, lid that won't hold its own weight up, electronics failure, and terrible, fragile construction. I've give this zero stars if I could.

Excellent Pellet Smoker
Would RecommendSmoke fire is my first pellet smoker. Very easy to use after assembly, which has a complexity of medium. It monitors cooking and provides realtime dashboard via apple App. I chose Webber, as I have had great success with Webber grills and really like the stainless steel grid and flavor guards
