Great little BBQ!

Had this grill in my shopping cart for years and finally bought it! Forgot how much I enjoyed charcoal bbq's from the past. Easy to assemble, and works great.

Small, but mighty!

Works great! Just grilled for our family of 12 on it during vacation and it worked. Took longer, obviously, but got the job done on 2 pkgs of hot dogs, a piece of salmon, asparagus, 4 steaks, and 3 chicken breasts. Then s’mores to end the meal. A lil workhorse!

Smokey Joe

I live alone, & the Smokey Joe is perfect size, very portable & easy to hide. The facists that serve as aparment management do not allow anyone to store their grills on one’s patio. You can smoke weed on one’s patio, but never, ever store a grill on it. I do not mind bringing my grill in & out, but I will think of a way to conceal it on the patio!!!

Smoky Joe airflow concerning

Hasn’t performed like bigger Weber Kettle bbqs I’ve had thus far. Might be a learning curve but I think the one size bigger might perform better. It’s an airflow thing.

Simply the best

This my second mini Weber as I call it. I bought my first one 20 years ago. I changed the grill and gave it to my son. I am a true fan an so are my friends.

Love this grill! Just the right size and portable too. Easy to light. Easy to use, easy to clean, takes only minutes to fall in love.

ash removal missing, why??

excelente choice for camping or quick grill; Only thing to make this grill perfect is to have the bottom ash removal feature

Vent location= LOW HEAT

If you have had a Joe back in the day the vents were higher up from the bottom than what is on these newer models. Hard to get the grill got enough. Works great for low heat cooking, but if you want to cook a steak, this grill sucks.

Great grill, but has a learning curve.

Others have mentioned this grill not having vents on the bottom. Yes, this does make the grill a little bit harder to use, but not at all unable. The grill needs plenty of charcoal, I think people are missing that. The regular 14" smokey Joe [which I had before for years] got real hot with less charcoal, so I did struggle the first 5-10 times using this grill. But, after adding about 10-15% more charcoal, this grill gets just as hot and lasts for quite some time. I also like that I can cut the h...
