I was worried paint would slip around to the other side and it does. This is not a replacement for painters tape when you want sharp lines. I did find it to be useful in some places where I wanted to block paint from falling and didn’t feel like setting up a canvas.

Would RecommendThis tool is also perfect for getting a perfect trim line when installing wallpaper, especially in corners and at trim and baseboards. Simply place this tool against the wallpaper and run your blade down the side of this tool. I found it will watching a YouTube video and I love it

Would RecommendEven though the tool claims to be safe to use to smooth wallpaper during installation, it does not do a great job. The sharpness of the blade cut right through the wallpaper and scraped off the design in some areas. It seems like this tool is best for edging paint ONLY. Other than that I would not recommend this product for wallpaper use.
