I used these lights around the deck and pool. Love the brass look and very durable. I had some difficulty trying to remove the cover but I found a trick. Hold light with cover facing downward. Rotate 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Now slowly turn clockwise till you feel a click/dec friction. This is when the cover is in the full unlock position.

You get what you pay for and more!
We installed 4 of these years ago on our deck stairway. Never had any issues with those and they weathered nicely. So when it came time to replace 3 lights in our retaining wall on the patio I skipped the box stores and went with quality.

Awesome Lights.....really pops the deck
I installed 18 of them on my new deck posts - it beautifies my deck and makes it enjoyable in the evening. Its solid brass and not some cheap plastic, and the way it affixes to the post, there is almost no room for water to seep in. Also got the 3W 2.7K LED's, and they complement the fixture great.
