Would Not RecommendGround is too hard. Actually bought a drill bit, because Lowes had no auger bits in stock. The ground is too hard from the drought. They have to be in a place with total sunlight, which means they'll need to go in the driest, hardest dirt you have. Judging by the rest of the reviews, they wouldn't have worked anyway.
Will take a couple of weeks or more to see results

Would Not RecommendI read directions installed batteries drilled hole put them in the ground. Chipmunks were burrowing under my deck. Put sand and dirt around deck and stakes are on either side. Dug out tunnel twice in one day even after a week of that noise.
